I know, just getting anything potentially relevant out on the table. Not really making any guesses at this point.

The change of tense from the second to the third line is interesting; "was" to "is". I keep wanting to lump those two lines together, to make it mean "human contact is gone in the future".

Well, it varies, I think they had Metallica as one of the clues the year they played, but last year I don't remember any of the clues being one of the higher-billed acts (some we found out last year were Tune Yards, Mogwai, Fruit Bats, I think Battles was another one).

Gary C. last year said the clues could be bigger names but never said anything about a headliner. I would just say the better chances are that most of these clues are middle line up acts.

Something with ghosts or spirits or something. Seems clearly religious. Future was less certain = future is now certain? Human contact is gone = there was once human contact?

Yeah, 2010 they gave more big-name acts, last year and 2011 they gave nothing on the high-side. My point was that to look at it as a headliner is probably a bad idea.

kinda leads me to jeff magnum. i think he was ruled out somewhere though.
