Or you could post it now so that someone doesn't waste their time driving out there? =p

Well there are other people who really enjoy the scavenger hunt part of it. Plus, they may already be on their way. Just don't want to take away from that aspect of it. I've enjoyed the hiding part of it and want someone else to enjoy the finding part of it.

could this clue pleaaaaase be bassnectar? ;( I'm dying here.
also, does anyone else feed into the whole "coachella/bonnaroo line up similarity" thing? if so, maybe we can guess by that and patterns from past years??... (too much for my brain right now)
Eleven Months Wait- November? For Entry To The Prestige- Prestige being heaven? or some other large event such as being signed or getting a #1 single? The First Rejected- Rejected from the prestige?
I think it refers to either an album released just barely too late for GRAMMY consideration (hence waiting almost a year to be eligible), or an artist who was rejected from the first ballot to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
EDITS:
The only notable album to be released late for GRAMMYs in 2011 is "El Camino" by the Black Keys, but would they give away a headliner in the clues? Doubt it.
I don't think this haiku is supposed to be read as three separate lines, it sounds like one whole riddle.
"Eleven months wait for entry to the prestige. The first rejected."is how I'm reading it, which makes me think of January, that being the first month that "rejected".

I'm paring the first two lines together, too, but the third line is throwing me. Were they/he/her rejected before entering the prestige or were they rejected before they waited eleven months.
in past clues, the first line seemed to be a play on the name of the act, but it doesnt seem so this time.
Oh I figured it out, it's the Rolling Stones. We waited eleven months for Coachella's lineup to drop and The Rolling Stones were the first band to publicly deny they were playing the festival. SOLVED.

It makes me think of the election
Eleven Months Wait (November) For Entry To The Prestige (being elected) The First Rejected (loser of the election)
That being said, I got nothing.
I'm certainly not making this a guess, but David Bowie played Nikola Tesla in the movie, The Prestige. I wonder if the clue makers are trying to mess with us a little with stuff like that.

I think the 11 month wait is the result of the rejection, which is why I suspect it might be a band who released an album in mid-December and be rejected for GRAMMY consideration, and thus had to wait another 11 months (the next November) to be eligible for entry to the "prestige" of being nominated.
However the Black Keys' "El Camino" is the only album that comes to mind with that idea.

If we're thinking location, Mumford did a HUGE show there last summer and just released last week their DVD of it. Edward Sharpe and Alabama Shakes are doing a show there this summer as are Avett Brothers, Portugal. The Man, and Old Crowe Medicine Show.

My Morning Jacket had a two night stand at Red Rocks. The Dead's Red Rocks set is pretty famous.
