Doesn't T.I. have an ep called 11 months and one day?? Can't really figure out any of the rest but I figured I'd throw that out there
Edit: After looking into it he was in jail for 11 months...maybe the second line represents getting back into the real world? Can't figure out the third

Maybe a stretch but.. Fiona Apple: Eleven Months Wait - For the second time the release date of an album of her's was pushed back, this time almost a year. For Entry To The Prestige - at one point mentioned that she was waiting "until her label found a new president and that she didn’t want her work to be mishandled amid corporate disarray" The First Rejected - The first time she was faced with release problems, it was speculated to be because the record label didn't feel that Extraordinary Machine had commercial appeal, or a hit single.

This is a stretch, but so is everything in rooclues. The third line could be because he's up to sign with a new label and since he's been on the same label this whole time (?) it will be his first rejection turning someone down?
TI is in my projected lineup and it fits the Atlanta rapper a year theory.
I mean, if Coachella gets Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and Grinderman one off shows, it's not totally implausible that Roo could get a Decemberists one off.
It just feels too easy an answer for a Roo clue.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds is not a one off, they're touring.

I think he was referring to Grinderman.

Oh, something I didn't think about yesterday either with the Mumford thing. Their first single off Babel was "I Will Wait". Which helps with the first line a little more then onto the 11 month wait for the Grammys because the first was rejected and the whole Babel/Babylon prestige/heaven thing.

I dont think an apostrophe makes any difference. I'm not the best at english though so I could totally be wrong. I think the difference is this Eleven months wait or "An" eleven-month wait (if we were actually speaking about an amount of time that has passed)
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"
I love Inforoo grammar debates. My point stands: "11 months wait" sounds like 11 months who are waiting, not a wait that lasts 11 months.
Of course, we may be nitpicking. I'm still trying to figure out a way to fit FOALS or Horse the Band into this.
i never EVER thought i would see horse the band mentioned on here. i fucking loved them growing up. they are some of the craziest people i have ever met. always put on a great show. i don't know how well they'd go over on the farm. plus they always seems to be touring japan.
Eleven Months Wait - Mr November For Entry To The Prestige - Mr November was used to endorse Obama in the presidential election in 08 The First Rejected - The National was outraged when Mitt Romney used Fake Empire, and rejected any connection to him. (this is a stretch, I know)
Last line could also mean their first band, Nancy, that broke up.
If only there was a musical performer who had appeared in the film The Prestige and rejected Knighthood.
Hugh Jackman recorded a soundtrack of Peter Allen songs and just did Les Miserables with Russell Crowe, who at least wouldn't be out of place at Bonnaroo. Not sure about Australians or Kiwis getting knighted...

Heres a fresh perspective and my take on it. Its Jay Electronica.
"Eleventh Months Wait" -eleven months ago Jay Elect announced that his debut album was finished and he was turning it in to his record label.
"For Entry to the Prestige" -heres where it gets better. The album is titled "ACT II Patents of Nobility: The Turn" based off of the movie The Prestige. Jay is fascinated by the movie and is basing a series of the albums on the 3 acts of a magic trick-- Act I: The pledge (already out) .. Act II: The Turn (coming this year) ... Act III: the prestige.
"The First Rejected" - okay he announced the album was done 11 months ago. Why isn't it out yet? He handed the copy of the album into Jay-Z, his boss, and Jay-Z rejected it saying it needs to have more singles. He has been working on it since and posted a tentative track list in July.
Oh, and it was posted at red rocks. Jay Electronica is signed to Roc Nation.
Food for thought. I am probably wrong. Just hopeful
