Hmm, I MAY go to St. Augustine for this. Could be a great time. Edward Sharpe is the Friday HL'er, Mumford for Saturday, with special guests Fun., The Vaccines, Half Moon Run, Willy Mason, Those Darlins, and Bear's Den.
I actually like Fun. (unlike many), so they're a plus. I don't think they fit on this line-up though.
And probably no Bonnie coming all the way to OH either :-(
Saint Augustine might be a possibility considering how late the date is. If my sister is there, it'll be even more likely.
Kate, Ohio is a maybe! I'm thinking maybe I can drive the first 7 hours and take a pit stop at Pitt (giggle)- say hi to Nicole and Jordan if they don't go- and then we could head to Ohio the next day? It's not ideal, but it's certainly doable. Especially if I can get another MA/CT/RI/NY person to drive with me... hint hint....??? Mumford is high enough on my list of favorites, that I am willing to go further for them
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Hope they use the stands for seating and don't just have the whole thing be GA with the stage in the endzone. According to the GOTR site, they are going to set up camping along the river and plan to have aftershow events in "downtown" Troy all weekend.
Ticket prices for all shows are listed on their individual page. Troy tickets will $109 for the weekend.
I'm so torn. I want to just buy tickets for one of them as soon as they go on sale, but there are too many variables right now. I will be trying my darndest to get to either St Auggie or Troy. Again, if someone wants to drive to Ohio with me...
Camping along a river sounds splendid. Lots-o-seafood at Surf's sounds quite magnificent as well

I sure hope they don't sell out instantly. I'm going to be thoroughly pissed off if I can't get a ticket to a festival in my home town. I'm planning on buying the max allowed until I run out of money. I need at least 5 for myself.

If I am road tripping down to St. Augustine for it, your more than welcome to join.

Thats what I am worried about. I have a meeting that starts at 10:30 and goes until 11:30. So i have to trust my girlfriend in getting us , which I am not very confident about if there is a lot of traffic on the site

I will be on a conference call with a few of my friends, with multiple computers up trying to get tickets.
Im buying all I can, so if it sells out immediately and I have extras I will make some of them available for face value to inforoosters.

Cool, let me know.. I am not sure if I want to use the vaca time to road trip it, though. I am leaning towards the plane if I do it. How 'bout you road trip it to Troy with me? ;D

I'm very intrigued with the fact that they said in Troy there will be an event at Hobart Arena. That place can hold a few thousand people for concerts or various sporting events (hockey being one but I can't imagine the ice would be down in August).
