Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's still early. I don't have any insider info really, but GuRoos haven't even gotten their schedules yet. Those may go out 1st. I'm not sure. Last year, they had GuRoos able to pick their own, but to be fair they're scheduling them internally to make sure people have 1 each of morning/afternoon/evening shifts (with some exceptions). There's still a month left, so hopefully within the next ...2 weeks maybe? We'll see.
Hey volunteers! Just a heads up that Festival C'roo schedules will be posted very soon! Hopefully by the end of today, and people are already seeing their locations listed (but no days/times yet)
Schedules are out. If anyone is interested in swapping, go ahead and make a Facebook account (if you don't have 1 already). They're gonna do it via FB Groups.
I'll be doing campground traffic with M&M Parking Services, as a community volunteer. Just got my wristband and Staff shirt this afternoon - should be an interesting time.
If you are interested in volunteering, please join the Bonnaroo Volunteers Facebook Group to ask questions about the application process and the pros/cons. It is perfect for anyone going to Bonnaroo solo or looking to save money and have a great time on the Farm. Applications should be going up in mid February.

Hi, I'm looking for some information, but unfortunately don't really use FB. I noticed you seem to post a lot about the Volunteer process, and thought you might be a good person to ask. I'm looking at volunteering at 'Roo for the first time this year, and would like to be able to go down with my girlfriend as she volunteers too. My question is whether or not the C'Roo leaders can match up volunteer schedules upon request, or if that's not something they would entertain. If not, do the schedules match up well enough where it's most likely not going to be a huge issue? Thanks for your help.

When you fill out your application around early March, you'll both need to list each other in the friends section. They will use this and try their best to match up your schedules. This assumes your girlfriend is also a during fest volunteer too. It'll probably help you guys if you pick the same top 3 bands and C'roos on your applications. They have thousands of volunteers to schedule, so the easier you make it on them, the more likely it'll be to get scheduled together. Also, we try to encourage applying as soon as they're open so C'roo availability isn't limited. Getting a better schedule may be more likely with an earlier deposit payment too. Certain C'roos fill faster than others. (New volunteers cannot sign up for pre-fest shifts, but you guys can do during fest and post-fest)
I hope that answers your question/helps. If either of you use Facebook though, I'd highly encourage joining anyway. You could bookmark the page and check in on it every so often. It gets a lot more activity than in here. We'll still try to post important updates in here though regardless. We'll also be listing people's info (to meet or help trade shifts) via a Google Doc or similar. I'll post more info about that once C'roo assignments are being sent out in spring.

It's usually early February for returning volunteers and a week later (so I guess mid-February?) for new volunteers, though I'm sure someone can find exact dates for you if you'd like!
If anyone is considering volunteering (C'roo or Clean Vibes) as a new volunteer this year, apps should be available on Friday, March 4th. Returning volunteers are about 2 weeks before that (date TBD).

Hi, I volunteered in 2007 and 2009. I believe since then, they have changed the process a bit. Should I apply as a new volunteer? Thanks for your help!

I believe someone that volunteered with WET when they were at Roo in 2010 or 2011 asked the organizers, and they said too much has changed and they don't have records that far back to prove you're a returning volunteer. They wanted the person to apply as a new volunteer, so I believe they'd ask the same of you. Friday, March 4th application for that.
(Join the Facebook group if you have Facebook. That's where they asked us, then emailed and told us the official response; www.facebook.com/groups/581925741840980/)
Applications for returning volunteers open at Noon EST on February 19th. Pre-Show will fill up FAST so be ready to apply and submit the deposit as soon as your application is accepted.
Also, Volunteers will not have to purchase a Car Camping Pass!
I'm a returning volunteer should I have gotten an email by now? Just wondering if it'll matter, or if I can still apply February 19th without it. I didn't volunteer last year, but I did the two years before so I don't know if that means anything

Are you still using the same email? I'm in the same situation (didn't volunteer last year but did two years before that) and got an email...

Odd, I might contact them then about it, you probably should have gotten the email assuming you've been volunteering with Bonnaroo and not another volunteering vendor those years. It was sent out on 1/28 in case it landed in spam/another folder!

Okay thank you I'll check. I did Clean Vibes in 2014, and regular Croo in 2013. But I still even have the emails from 2013

Woooohoooo! I applied for pre-fest and got accepted! As much as I enjoyed my job last year I am looking forward to being able to be at the fest without missing anything! Thanks for the heads up, Ellie!!! (ok, too much coffee....(deep breath) must switch to chamomile tea...)
