My time off is approved, no ticket yet but I'm gonna find a way. This sounds too awesome to miss. Also if anyone needs a ride between ohio and there I've got a big comfortable truck.

Excited to meet some of you Inforoosters as I have never been able to make Inforoo brunch in my 4 years of heading to Bonnaroo.
She did tell me to warn you that she got detention once in high school, in case you run a background check on us she wanted to give you the heads up.
Too funny K2! As always warned, we have Kittehs' and 'Puppehs' - other than that we do all that we can to make sure every one is as comfy as possible whether it be sofa/air mattress/bed, well um.. 'primed' and ready to go, and def. well fed.
As for detention.. what? I'm a rule follower! most, ok some, of the time. Don't think you will regret QC. Will PM tomorrow.
Sounds like a fantastic time! We'll be willing to contribute whatever is needed.
I can't wait to meet all of you; it'll definitely make the festival way more exciting than it would be if it was just the two of us.
We're both first time Newport Folk Fest'ers. Last year's lineup was just too amazing for our tastes to consider not going this year (we both had previous commitments last year on NFF weekend or we'd have made the trip). We both have festy experience though; I've been going to fests since 2007 and I was able to convince her to join me at Bonnaroo the past 2 years (she even talked her dad into going with us last year and he organized an RV for us). Can't wait to head north!

You can put me down as a solid yes for at least Friday & Saturday night at QC. If I can get the time off my new job, I'll stay for longer... especially if I can get an after-market ticket to NFF. Seeing how QC is only a few hours drive from me this year, I don't have anything keeping me from seeing all of your beautiful faces for at least a couple of days
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
My +1 just got invited to go on a European vacation during NFF and I'm awaiting her decision. Not sure what I'll do if she chooses Europe (I wouldn't blame her) as Newport is a long trip to make by myself (and a slightly less fun trip). But knowing that I'll get to meet you guys definitely makes the decision to attend NFF still very likely (especially after how much I've psyched myself for both QC and the lineup)

Long arsse drive yes... But really worth it! Unless you can catch an invite to Europe in which case do it! And by all means do encourage your plus 1 to go. Quacker and i did a two week dip your toes in Europe cruise and it was priceless!!
I demand chat cams at all times. If I make myself some amazing food and buy a couple random 6 picks from across the country I may be able to forget I'm not really there

Thanks for the Bump LD and all.. Now that Nonnaroo and Solid Sound are behind us it's time to a) get some sleep b) get serious about QC planning...
Will be getting a bunch of questions out soon - like who is on-board for QC and when you are coming in etc. Time to start counting and planning! Getting a head of myself... step 'a' first.
