They're back for more. Really love this band. Great albums and even better live. I haven't seen the new lineup yet (they lost their regular drummer and keyboardist and have added new guys) but have heard solid things. Looking forward to this set. Really hope they don't conflict with something else I want to see .(Superjam, Byrne & St. Vincent, Wu Tang).
Very excited about their upcoming album which is being produced by Danger Mouse. Looking forward to see what they come up with.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

They might be able to. They seem to be favorites of the promoters, so it is somewhat possible.
I saw them last november in Mexico and they didn't have the lights anymore, or they didn't bring them cause it was a long trip I guess. They did play 3 cities in 3 consecutive days while they were over here, and it was a festival, so I can imagine it getting pretty complicated logistically to transport them all over.

I'm liking the new single. It certainly has a different feel, I think you can really hear Danger Mouse's influence around the 1:30 mark, with the change is John's vocals.
For those with Spotify it's up, but under the artist of Portugal the Man (not Portugal. the Man)
I'm loving the new single. Just heard it today on Columbus' alternative station, CD102.5, on the way to work. You're right about hearing the Danger Mouse influence.
Ok, I allowed myself to sleep on it before passing judgement. Some songs/albums are growers. You don't like them as much at first but grow to love them with repeated listens. This is not one of those songs. I loved it before I even got through the first listen.
