If they continue providing power for patrons with sleep apnea, then I will be camping in volunteer from Sunday thru Wednesday, and then moving to access Wednesday afternoon. Ill find out for sure the beginning of may.

Did you use access for sleep apnea last year, dougie? How did that work out? I keep going back and forth on whether I want to take advantage of it or not. On one hand, going access limits the amount of people from here I could camp with. On the other, I will probably be much better rested if I use my CPAP.
We'll be there with a bunch of Inforoosters this year including cks, siggy, Justin and Andrea and I think custeph and her crew are caravaning in with us.

Aren't you guys in an RV so you would be in a different section, right? I honestly have a very minimal understanding of how Access works.

To tell you the truth I'm not sure. There have been years that we were in access in a tent and had an RV parked right next to us. Also, the RV's can bring a companion vehicle and they can tent camp right there as well. I've always thought it was done a little differently but I'm no expert either.

Fair enough. Is there any way to quarantine sang_xcx so that we wouldn't have to associate with him?

I did not use it last year because I didn't know that was a service that they offered. I know that I would have a much better time if I was actually rested. Mayo can tell you I didn't sleep well at all the past two times I've been.

I sent an email to access@bonnaroo.com asking for a little more detail on the set-up. I will let you know what they tell me.
Yeah, I was thinking on the differences in the nights where I use it and when I fall asleep without putting it on. An extra boost would be great for Roo.
Edit: I bet crazykittensmile liked this post because she had to hear my pre-CPAP sleep in the RV last year.

Haha. I can sleep through anything at Bonnaroo, but I did hear some snoring in our RV. It was coming from multiple directions though, so it wasn't just you

Good to know because you'll hear it in the RV again this year

I think planning to have brunch anywhere outside of TO is a better idea than still being upset at AC's bonehead move with TO this year. I'm down with having it anywhere, but if we have it in Access, just be sure to give your neighbors the heads-up that there's going to be a giant party that will likely spill over into their camping area so they won't be caught off-guard.
I use a CPAP and I'm looking into camping in Access this year. I'm camping with 2 other people- would they be able to stay in access as well, or would I be on my own?
I have always been under the impression that you are okay as long as you are all in the same car. I am not 100% on that though.
ACCESSIBLE CAMPING AND DAY PARKING
NEW: Enforcement Increased: The Accessible Camping and Day Parking areas are for use by people with mobility disabilities and their guests who have proper documentation and a sticker issued at the Tollbooth. Other vehicles will be towed and tents removed.
Accessible Camping Companion Policy: In the Accessible Camping area, one companion vehicle is allowed to enter along with the vehicle displaying the accessible parking tag. To make sure that there is enough space for all that truly need it, no more than one companion vehicle is allowed. The companion vehicle and the vehicle with the accessible parking tag must go through the tollbooths together (where they will both receive stickers), enter the camping area together and park next to each other. Others may camp elsewhere and visit their friends in the Accessible Camping area but may not bring their vehicles or tents. Vehicles and tents that do not have proper permission will be removed.
You're gonna want to get there early I can see access filling up fast pushing people to the outskirts with the new tent only policy. My friend and I plan on arriving Wednesday afternoon around 3 or so and waiting for the gates to open.
If you are coming in a car you can have a companion vehicle for free. But, if you are in an RV, camper, etc then you need to purchase a companion pass. Also I'm not sure but wasn't the CPAP area closer to the medical tent than the access camping area?
The people we camp with are the ones with the handicap tag, so for the last three years, they've led us in, told the gate we were their companion car, and were able to get into access and set up without any problems. However many people you can fit in those two cars are good to camp in Access.
