Nope! That's why I was panicking, I saw your post and realized you were supposed to register. Laura sent me this:
"Please don't worry. You do not have to preregister to get into Accessible Camping. Your Indiana-issued accessible parking tag is your "ticket" into accessible camping. I put a deadline on requesting the highway tag so that I don't get all the requests at the last minute.
The attached pass is to help those who are directing traffic on the highway and to help make sure you end up at the correct exit for the Accessible Camping Area. Print it on white paper with black ink. A heavier paper might work better. Cut along indicated lines. Hang from your rear view mirror when you are approaching Bonnaroo on I-24. Give a copy to your companion vehicle if you have one. Your companion vehicle must enter the tollbooths with you. DO NOT use this for VIP Accessible Camping, as it will not send you to the correct exit.
You will still need to bring your government-issued accessible parking tag in order to camp in the Accessible Camping area.
Be sure that you have read the Access Info Guide, link below.
Yep- if Laura hasn't gotten back to you it is because she's been traveling to Roo...she's there now but earlier today they had power issues- apparently solved now. She just wrote me too!!
And of course, Laura just got back to me and told me not to worry and sent me the hang tag. Apparently, you don't NEED to pre-register for Access at all. Got to work on keeping my anxiety levels in check.
Definitely need to chill! Also, if you're coming in on Wednesday you should try to meet up with us at Wal Mart. We're trying to get a camp Inforoo going for those of us in Access.
Moose, just make sure you have your state issued placard (you can get a temp one from the DMV with proper documentation) and the Bonnaroo issued hang tag which Laura should send to you. If not one of us can send it.

She just emailed me, Wish I waited just another hour to post She said she can help me out so I am very excited.

I hope to see you guys at Walmart Wednesday afternoon I will walk the lot looking for access A's s maybe we can caravan in and camp toegether. We should arrive between one and three o'clock. I will update from my phone as we get closer.
I'll probably be rolling in too late to meet up at Walmart, but hopefully I'll see some of you in the campground. Short guy, probably wearing a kilt, tattoos, hairy. Can't miss me.
First timer here. I could care less if I get "Stewed" out in Griffith-land, but my wife has a bad hip so we'll be in access. Just a few quick questions. Laura sent me the "A" sign yesterday(after one day wait, Go Laura!!), but it almost seems like those are reserved for people who need the "power" campsites. I just don't want to end up "that guy". Are the mirror"A" signs for all Bonnaroovians heading to Access Camping, or just those who need the Access-sites w/ electricity? Next question: Why, oh why, does my wife have to work till Four on Wednesday? ? No seriously, is everyone at this Inforoo brunch bringing something, like a pot-luck? At least it's not too far from Clarksville. We will try to make the caravan at Wal-Mart. As far as that goes: If we get to Walmart at 7 or 8PM on Wed, would we miss it? Thankee in advance( I think Wolfaroo is a DT fan) Can't wait to experience this whole thing! Peace

I think the A signs are for those who qualify for Access without having a permanent handicapped tag. It just so happens that many of those in the powered campsite are there for CPAP power, so they don't have a permanent handicap tag. When I asked her about entrance, she said my name went on some list for the powered campsites, and that I would first be directed to Access then the powered campsite section within Access. That being said, I have never done Access before, so I am just going off what I have been told.
I will be getting in Wednesday night. If anyone else in access wants to meet for a beer Wednesday night or Thursday morning pm me here or on twitter @thea_train

The A tag is for EVERYONE in Access. Make sure you pair it with your state issued hang tag or if you're using a CPAP you use the A tag to get to the electricity hookup sites.

After reading dougie's post above........I don't have the "A" tag either. I'll be checking in on Tues (volunteer) and have Laura's number to call once I get onsite, but could someone PM me about the Access tag. I'll have to go thru toll booths just like y'all and I think it would be better to be safe than sorry. Thanks!

Don't prefet volunteers have a separate campground? I am not sure, by a Nyah your access hanger for state/access plates hold get you in tothe camping, the A is just to alleviate the wait time for access patrons. You may just have to wait longer that's all. If you are allowed to camp there you don't need the A. Email the volunteer people too and ask them.
I'll be there Wednesday. Anyone else who is coming Wednesday should totally try to meet up at Wal Mart. Not sure how we should flag each other down. Ideas?
I am going to have some sheets of paper with inforoo access on them tape tithe windshield when we get to Walmart. We will be in a big dodge pick up.
Cool.... I don't know you guys but I'm going to be in access with my gf this year and we are stopping at walmart before heading on in so if I see you guys there Wednesday Ill give you a shout. One of my favorite things about Roo is meeting new people and getting to know your neighbors.

Volunteers do have a separate camping area....the main being in BFE and the other by the West Tollbooth (which is where I would have been). But, I'll be camping beginning Tuesday in an Access powered site. You're right, the "A" is so that you will be directed to Access through the crush of traffic onsite. I'll just keep Laura's cell # handy and if there are any problems I'll let them talk to her.

I don't have the hanger I am with a friend who does. See if someone can emailit to you.
Prefest does have our own campground. I'm just covering my bases for when I move my camp on Tuesday from pod 1 to access. Most of my correspondence has been with Laura. I just want to make sure I'm covered with the volunteer people as well...
Thanks Dave and Harvey! These newbies will"...get by with a little help from our friends." :)From what I gather, there will be no shortage of great people in Access. See y'all on the farm!

Can't wait to meet all you lovely people on Wednesday!! How will I know who you are in the WalMart parking lot?! I can't freaking wait!!!! WoooooOoOOOOooooo!!!!!
Okay...my bonnaroo dreams are beginning to crumble. My wife totaled her car this morning on her way in to work. She hurt her ankle and is in a boot thing. Though we are both thankful that no one was hurt worse, it still sucks. How can we arrange to be in access camping? Of course we don't have a state issued hang tag and don't think we could get one before time to head to the farm...any help/advice would be appreciated.

Email access@bonnaroo.com ASAP. Explain your situation to Laura. Be prepared for her to request some documentation from the doctor regarding the injury. For example, CPAP people were asked to provide a letter on our doctor's letterhead stating that we required a powered medical device for health reasons.
I know that this has actually been asked before but what time are they opening the Access area? Is it the same time as GA (7PM) or do others foresee us being able to enter the camping area? This would make a big difference in terms of trying to meet everyone at Walmart as I heard 1 or 2 PM...way before gate time.

If you can get to back to your doctor and then zoom to your county clerks office, you can get a temporary gov-issued plackard. It should not be more than ten bucks. Like Dave mentioned, Laura is the best person to ask, because you may only need a note from your doctor, and of course the mirror sign that Laura will email to you (in attachment) soon after you email her. It's crunch time, so I really hope she can get back with you quick. If not, someone may be able to give you a copy of the mirror sign. Go to the website for your county clerks office and you may be able to download and print the form that your doctor will need to sign before the county clerk will accept it(and issue the plackard). Make sure you select "temporary" on the form. Good luck!!
