The clear winner of this thread is "canexplain" who says they saw f'n Hendrix on NYE '69 and saw The Beatles at RED ROCKS '64. You gotta be kidding me.
"Bennyboy420" from other messageboards like Jazzfest and PhantasyTour is the only other person I've seen claim shows that ridiculous. *bows to canexplain*
Reading through the thread I'm embarassed about some honorable mentions I forgot in my list....
Dead Can Dance - September 4, 2012 - Nashville, TN - Ryman Auditorium Return to Forever (w/ Zappa Plays Zappa) - September 8, 2011 - ATL - Fox Theatre Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ Voodoo - October 28, 2012 in NOLA Gary Clark Jr @ Hangout Fest's VIP groove - May 20, 2012 - Gulf Shores, AL Primus - October 31, 2012 - ATL - Tabernacle Gogol Bordello – Hangout Fest 2012 Tony Clifton Late night – Hangout ‘11 Tame Impala Georgia Theater , Athens Jan 2013
Fun fact: canexplain is a confessed pedophile and patronizer of underage prostitutes.
3. Arcade Fire/ The National at UIC Pavillion - Easter 2011, I went alone but the show was just amazing.
I was there! Well, not at the Sunday show, but at the Friday show. Came to Chicago specially for that show... met Matt Berninger's mother, who stood next to me for The National's show. Also one of my top concert experiences.
Does it really? Guess we learned something about you today, Blotter.
Yikes. If you're gonna use that as a distinction, at least spell hebephile correctly.
Ah. You're right, when I spelled it hebe at first it made me think I had it wrong becaue it looked like that deregatory term for Jewish people.
Why do y'all see the distinction as that big of a deal? If you don't think there is a massive difference between a guy engaging in sex acts with a 16-17 year old female versus a 6-7 year old female I don't know what to tell ya.
My initial quote doesn't imply that one is intrinsically acceptable in any way, I just said there is a differential in creepiness factor, which there is.
I'm not the strangerdanger here anways, y'all go flame the kangfirm'd perv.

Actually, hebephilia refers to sexual attraction to early adolescents, generally accepted as 12-14 years of age. What you're speaking of is ephebophilia, which is generally accepted as sexual attraction to those between the approximate ages of 15-18.
And I don't know, I find sex with underage prostitutes who were likely forced into the sex trade to be pretty high on the "creepiness factor," but hey, at least he's seen some cool concerts. Hetti
Damn, didn't know I was talking to the Inforoo expert on underage sex.
I just know what shows the dude claims to have been to. I don't know the guy, and I don't know you either. All I saw is your post claiming the guy is into nasty sex shit without posting evidence or anything.
I'd like to see it. Wouldn't expect many people to just admit that on a public message board. Don't know if it has been posted/discussed ad nauseum already; I'm not on the board all the time and I don't use all of the sub-forums.
I was lucky enough to experience these with family or close friends.
10.) The Joy Formidable Secret show: The Mod Club Toronto 2012? – My TJF buddy and I went to Toronto to see them open for The Gaslight Anthem. While in I answered trivia about Them Crooked Vultures and won two tickets to see them play the next at a private event. This was huge for a lot of reasons. We came to Toronto originally to see them play like six songs opening for a band I didn’t care about. We ended up seeing them in the smallest place I have to date. I was obviously front and center. This time Ritzy did something I’ve still never seen her do again; during their last jam before she walked off stage to let the other two play as always, she decided to put her guitar in my hands and walk off stage. So I jammed out with my favorite band. It was really. fucking. awesome. This is just number 10…
9.) Foo Fighters: Firefly Festival 2014 – One of the more unique sets I have ever seen them play. My lady and I waited at the rail for 12 hours throughout the day for this. It was the first time her and I had a chance to see FF just the two of us. It was incredible and they were at the top of their game for this one.
8.) Roger Waters The Wall Live: LA Memorial Coliseum 2012 – I flew out for two weeks to visit my brother in LA and got to catch this spectacle for the second time in less than a year. The outdoor venue, being in LA, and improved stage show blew the first show out of the water.
7.) Tenacious D: Bonnaroo 2010 – They were the reason I bought the ticket to my first Roo and they killed it. If it wasn’t for them, who knows where I’d be when it comes to Roo.
6.) Paul McCartney: Bonnaroo 2013 – Yep.
5.) Foo Fighters w/Supergrass: Rochester NY 2008 – My first time seeing them so of course it was special.
4.) The Joy Formidable w/Empires: Private event in Chicago 2014 – my 13th time seeing TJF, but the most special. I won two tickets to the event 3 days prior to it in a city over 7 hours away. My best friend since first grade and I made the journey and had some of the most fun we have ever had together.
3.) Radiohead: Bonnaroo 2012 – Enough said
2.) Global Festival Central Park NYC 2012: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys – I never thought I’d be lucky enough to see Neil at all, let alone with Crazy Horse. It was such an experience seeing them after Foo Fighters too, a band I never see anyone play after haha.
1.) Foo Fighters: Secret show 930 Club 2014- The most intimate show with my favorite band of all time. I got to meet Dave and they played my favorite song. It was the greatest day of my entire life.
Wow it's hard to read through all of that crap. Just skimming through the highlited posts by him. Seems like he's just talking shit or failing at trolling almost.
This is no where near as close as the Poz Load copypastas I've come across on Phantasy Tour.

That's Colorado Ron. He's not talking shit nor trolling, he's a reprehensible piece of dried up shit acid casualty masquerading as a free love hippie dingbat. He's the fucking worst.
And I have no idea what the fuck the last sentence of your post means. Get it together, Blotter.
Well, I'm still impressed at the shows the guy saw, sucks he's a POS.
Here are screencaptchas of the original pozload copypasta that was posted on Phantasy Tour phish board which came from Deep Web. There are a ton of them and it's a real thing. Way worse than some spunion smangin' underage chicks. Read at your own risk, potential scarred for life content.
The Dead - Bonnaroo (It was the fist time I saw a member of the Grateful Dead perform and it was glorious)
The Dirty Three - The Sixth and I Synagogue
Spritualized - 9:30 Club
The Bridge - 9:30 Club (last show in DC before their indefinite hiatus)
STS9 - Allgood '09
STS9 - Knoxville Tennessee Theatre '03(?)
Pink Floyd - Ohio Stadium (A Looooooooong time ago. Without Waters. Still awesome)
Wilco - Wolftrap 2012 (Got a pass to the afterparty and met all the bans members except Tweedy)
My Morning Jacket - Bonnaroo (Beyond Thunderdome Performance)
My Morning Jacket - Bonnaroo (Late night downpour set with Hammett guesting with them on One Big Holiday)
STS9 was still playing Blue Cats back in '03 and '04. They played the Bijou '06. If it was at the tennessee, then it was at least '07. I as living there then and was a pretty big fan.

Ah ha, you are probably correct. My Knoxville years are more than a little hazy. ;-)

Updated
1. NINaRoo 09 (even with the prospect of this being their "last US show" not being true in the least, this is still my all time favorite band delivering one of the best sets I've ever seen from them, live or on video or audio boot, period. They played like it was their last show ever and I'll never forget a second of it. Also, the closest I ever got for a NIN show, having inched my way up to second row center by the last 3 songs.)
2. Prince in 2011 (Performance wise, probably the very best show I've ever seen. In retrospect, the half-full house kind of hurt the show but goddamn it... this is my only time seeing Prince so far and it was just an unbelievable performance.)
3. Skinny Puppy in 2014 (seeing my favorite band in a more comfortable, roomy setting with a better, longer setlist makes a difference, however...)
4. The Mars Volta at Myrtle Beach in 08 (Sitting pretty at that #4 spot again... this was the tour that didn't have much jamming in the actual songs but rather opening/intro jams to most songs that went 5+ minutes in most cases. The show was recorded, so I can relive it as much as I like, but the final Drunkship of Lanterns + jam was not recorded, which went for over 30 minutes. That is a performance I will forever hold up on a pedestal in my mind.)
5. Skinny Puppy in 2009 (seeing them in a smaller, more intimate venue with the most riled up and rowdy crowd I've been in makes for another completely unforgettable experience... they're just that good. This show was on the verge of disaster and that makes it more important to me.)
6. Tortoise at Roo 07 (I don't think this show will ever leave my top ten, regardless of how many awesome shows I'll see... unless one of them is a better Tortoise show)
7. The Legendary Pink Dots in 2008 (still the only time I've seen these guys, and with the lineup change from the following tours, I don't see them meeting this level again.)
8. Robert Plant and Allison Krauss at Roo 08 (To this day, Allison Krauss put on the greatest live vocal performance I've ever seen. Besides the fact of the show just being amazing and literally goosebump inducing as a whole, I have developed more of an appreciation for the Gene Clark songs covered at that show, him being one of my all time favorite singer/songwriters of all time now. This show is "special" to me.)
9. Radiohead at Roo 06 (never saw them before, haven't seen them since. This show had almost the perfect setlist for me as a fan, and I dig it even more today than when I was standing there in front of the stage right screen in 06. This is probably the most "legendary" show I have on my list)
10. Jonathan Richman in 08 (Intimate, funny, and heart breaking. This was a fucking beautiful show that I wish I could see again and again. I was only familiar with about 5 songs he did that night, but as a performer he just had me captivated. One of the most personal shows I've ever attended and it was out of this world in terms of emotion)
I love to read opinions on live music and her what people think of certain bands, especially ones that I may have the chance to see myself. I hope there isnt a thread like this already but oh well, im sure someone will tell me if there is so its cool, win/win.
