Here are some of my favs no order to them as they all are amazing memories and experiences!! I'm also really bad at remembering dates but I remember the show and the amazing time I had!
Tom Petty Bonnaroo 2006 Coldplay can't remember the year but they played in DC at the basketball stadium and it was Chris Martins birthday Phish I think it was 2012 in Portsmouth va love that venue on the water!! Foster the people Bonnaroo 2012 Rusted Root can't remember the year it was prob the late 90's at the 9:30 club in DC Widespread Panic like every time I see them but def fav venues to see them are Portsmouth va and Bonnaroo Walk the Moon firefly a first year 2012? It was so small that year that like you just show up right as a show was starting and you could get as close as you want and their energy was amazing!! HFStival that was a fun day festival with so many bands!!!! String Cheese Incident seen them a few times and always a good show! The Who. My husband loves them so seen them a few times too and always a good show def like them now way better after seeing them live!! Oh and forgot Paul McCartney at both Roo and Firefly such great shows and different experiences!! One time I was Prego the other time I wasn't! Oh arcade fire! And modest mouse!!! Reptar!! Oh and one last one that surprised me was zedd at firefly last year

Were you at roo 2015 6peacelovemusic10? King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are officially one of my most favorite shows I've ever witnessed. Brownout was absolutely amazing as well. Those are two of my most treasured bootleg recordings!!! SO MUCH FUN & I'm listening to Giz as I type this!
2. Here is the one you all will hate me for. Twenty One Pilots at The Pageant in 2013. I know I know. You all hate them. But this was before their fanbase became absolutely intolerable. I actually really love this band despite how meh I am about their most recent album. The show was incredible though. I haven't heard them sound so good since and the energy was incredible. The crowd was just as into it as the band who were in shock at the fact that they sold out a venue not in their home town. They played all of their 3rd album (the first one people actually cared about) and my mom had gotten me these tickets (which doesn't ever really happen. I remember having just heard of them when she got an email about it. 10/10 concert
As a collective whole, Inforoo hates Twenty One Pilots. I love them. I saw them for the first time in 2013, too, before their fanbase exploded in to the annoying teeny boppers that it is today. I still really enjoy their music and their shows are always good, but the fanbase has definitely put a damper on the whole experience for me.

No unfortunately I was not there last year. I could only got one festival in last year and Firefly just worked out better logistically. But I'm so excited to get back to the farm this year! Haven't been since 2013 and I was pregnant that year. I'll have to check them out!!
I want to try to get this down now so it's easier to keep track of.
1.) Paul McCartney - Bonnaroo 2013 - A couple weeks after graduating from high school at my first music festival with my best friends. The emotions of that crowd have been unmatched for me since.
2.) Sufjan Stevens - Coachella 2016 - Might be recency bias but I don't know, this show was so great. Solidified Sufjan as probably my favorite artist of all time.
3.) Kanye West - Bonnaroo 2014 - We got in pretty much dead center right on the rail behind the pit. One of the most fun sets I've ever experienced. The production was great, I even liked his monologues, I left the set inspired to be great.
4.) LCD Soundystem - Coachella 2016 - Top 5 band of all time for me that I never believed I would have the chance to see. They lived up to all my expectations (made me want to go to Bonnaroo to see them again). Got great tributes for Prince and Bowie, and to top it all off, right before they started we got to watch Prince's Creep performance from Coachella on the giant screens.
5.) Tool (with Primus) - Phoenix, AZ, Halloween 2015 - They came out dressed as Led Zeppelin and covered No Quarter for the first time in like 15 years. That set the tone. The production blew me away and they sounded amazing.
6.) NYCH (with Alabama Shakes) - Red Rocks 2012 - I was not expecting him to rock so hard, it was pretty incredible. The dude still shreds on the guitar. Also Alabama Shakes opened before they had really blown up.
7.) Mark Knopfler - Red Rocks 2015 - My dad's favorite band of all time (and one of mine as well) was Dire Straits so my brother and I bought tickets for my whole family for his birthday. One of the tightest groups of musicians I have ever seen. Great show.
8.) Jack White - Bonnaroo 2014 - I loved uncle Jack's country bear jamboree. He's been involved in some of my favorite bands and getting to see all of that at one time was great. The encore was like as long as the fucking show.
9.) The Prodigy - Riot Fest 2015 - It was lit.
10.) System Of A Down - Riot Fest 2015 - I'm not even a huge SOAD fan but that was the most insane concert I have seen. Literally the entire crowd was a mosh pit.
Honorable Mentions: Fuzz, Ms Lauryn Hill, Caribou, Underworld, Sia, Deadmau5, etc... This was hard.
Bump... since this thread is rather old, I'm okay with breaking the rules a bit. Was thinking about all the great shows I've seen earlier today and actually sat down and managed to list out all of the ones that I can remember, then I managed to separated them into tiers. For the most part, the first two tiers are pretty well ranked, but after that, it's whatever strikes me the most nostalgically at any given moment. I considered only going with one show per artist, but for the sake of perspective decided against it. So, here are what I consider my 50 favorite concerts that I've attended:
Prince - Columbia, SC 2011 (In terms of performance, set, crowd response, memorability and sentimentality, the best show I've ever seen.) Nine Inch Nails - Bonnaroo 2009 (Extremely close second, with my favorite band playing at my favorite place at the time what was supposed to be their swan song on US soil. And they played like it was with an absolutely unreal setlist and passion.) Skinny Puppy - Charlotte, NC 2014 (Near perfect setlist, great performance, and a crowd that was just rowdy enough while being respectful and even helpful, catching Nivek Ogre as he fell off the stage in the encore. Unforgettable.) The Mars Volta - Myrtle Beach, SC 2008 (For nearly 3 hours, Volta played many of their fan favorites with rife improvisation in between songs and in a few themselves, jamming both Cygnus and Drunkship out to the 30+ minute mark.) Nine Inch Nails - Duluth, GA 2008 (Very long and varied set, and a great performance, but the real highlight here was the Lights In The Sky stage/light show. Youtube it if you aren't familiar. Best production of any show I've attended.) The Legendary Pink Dots - Atlanta, GA 2008 (One of my favorite bands in an intimate venue promoting their Plutonium Blonde album, one of their best albums in all honesty. This band is perfect live and I should really try to see them again.) Tortoise - Bonnaroo 2007 (Technically speaking, probably the best performed concert I've ever attended. And being at a fest like Roo, it was great to see them so well received. Again, I really need to see them again.) Robert Plant and Alison Krauss - Bonnaroo 2008 (Goosebumps. Krauss' take of Tom Wait's "Trampled Rose" should be the stuff of legend, if it was up to me. Also, where I really fell in love with the solo work of Gene Clark.) Radiohead - Bonnaroo 2006 (Is this still considered the best headlining set in Bonnaroo history? Or one of their own favorite sets as a band? Because it once was, and for damned good reason.) Skinny Puppy - Atlanta, GA 2009 (Extremely dark set of songs, and the angst boiled to one of the most insane moments of any concert I've attended; the crowd absolutely erupting during the final movement of "Morpheus Laughing". Insanity.)
Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group (The Mars Volta) - Asheville, NC 2011 ("Surprise" set of The Mars Volta previewing tracks from "Noctouriquet", which wouldn't release until over a year later. They were more into it than at any other Volta show I ever saw, playing stuff that they had only been played in front of crowds less than a handful of times up to that point.) Don Henley - Atlanta, GA 2017 (I was not lying when I called this one of the best shows I've ever seen. One of the best performed I've seen, this hit all the right notes and I don't care how many cool points I lose for this.) Jonathan Richman - Chapel Hill, NC 2008 (Intimate, cramped, hilarious, heartbreaking, hot, maddening, exciting, exhausting, unforgettable. A true one of a kind artist, if there's one act I wish I could encourage anyone to see, it's Jonathan.) Zola Jesus w/ JG Thirlwell - Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit 2013 (Lovely stripped down show that had me nearly in tears. Among the best vocal performances I've witnessed live, and all conducted by the madman behind Foestus.) Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Asheville, NC 2017 (Yeah, this was just the other night, but it really is one of the greatest emotional hurricanes of a concert I've seen, if not THE. Nick Cave is the fucking man.) Morton Subotnik - Moogfest 2012 (Seeing a true progenitor recreate his most classic work with some amazing visuals to a refined and restrained audience in a beautiful small theater... couldn't ask for any more. Not something you experience every day.) DJ Shadow - Atlanta, GA 2012 (This set was so great and experimental... being held in a douchy Atlanta night club, and especially after his Miami set earlier that week had been shut down after the big spenders in the clud disliked it, it was no shock that this show fell to a similar fate, though going for a considerably longer bit. That he had a good idea something like this would happen but continued resonates with me artistically, as pretentious as that may sound. One of my favorite shows ever even if it was cut short.) Radiohead - Atlanta, GA 2017 (Again, a very recent show, but it was excellent. Radiohead are masters, and I was made into a fan of newer tracks I hadn't liked quite as much. There's a reason they're considered one of the best.) Nine Inch Nails - Atlanta, GA 2009 (Had a hard time deciding which of these two would rank higher, but I'll go with this one. Very oddball setlist with some deep cuts you'd not expect and the amazing cameo from Saul Williams, coming out during "Survivalism", then performing his "Banged and Blown Through" with the band. No "Hurt", though...) Nine Inch Nails - Atlanta, GA 2005 (The first time I saw NIN, and the first "real" show I attended. Great light/stage show immortalized by the "Beside You In Time" DVD/Blu Ray, I suggest you refer to that.)

10. Chance the Rapper - Boston Calling 2017 (Set 143)
Starting off with "Mixtape" wasn't the best choice, but the rest of the set was straight out amazing.
9. Joyce Manor @ The Blue Note, Columbia, MO - 9/11/15 (Set 82)
JM were the first proper concert I saw in CoMo. Didn't really know anything about them beforehand, but they were really impressive with the time they had.
8. The Who @ Allstate Arena, Rosemont, IL - 11/29/12 (Set 13)
The further I get from this set, the more fondly I think of it. Hearing "Love, Reign O'er Me" live was amazing.
7. Local Natives @ The Blue Note, Columbia, MO - 4/4/17 (Set 130)
This light show was great. I'd seen them before at Lolla '16 but seeing them in an actual venue was so much better.
6. My Morning Jacket @ The Chicago Theatre, Chicago, IL - 6/10/15 (Set 52)
This set made me like IWSYS and "Highly Suspicious."
5. Darkside -Lollapalooza 2014 (Set 39)
I know this might sound weird for a set halfway down the list but this set actually changed my life. Concerts became less of a thing that I did because others went and more of an event that I actually enjoyed. This set was THAT good...
...and then Darkside went on hiatus a week later.
4. Arcade Fire @ United Center, Chicago, IL - 8/27/14 (Set 42)
This show was amazing. I couldn't have hand-picked a better setlist, the band, the lights, and the setup were all on-point, and there was Mavis Staples covering the Rolling Stones(!). Hearing Win yell "LET'S GO TO CHURCH!" followed by the opening notes of "Intervention" is a moment I will never forget.
3. Paul McCartney - Lollapalooza 2015 ( Set 59)
I mean, he IS a former Beatle.
I cried during "Band on the Run."
2. Metallica - Lollapalooza 2015 (Set 69)
It's never really hit me thatI saw Macca and Metallica on back to back nights. Not really something that happens often. Being up front with my dad during "Whiskey in the Jar" will be something I never forget. It was a childhood dream fulfilled.
But that first hour was...interesting. I really didn't know what I was getting into and nearly got squeezed out of the crush like toothpaste.
1. LCD Soundsystem - Lollapalooza 2016 (Set 118)
My god. This was transcendental. Front row for my favorite band five days before my permanent move to CoMo. A perfect storm that I'm not sure can be topped.
I also can never go to Lolla again because of this set.

Plus Long Road, Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns, and Neil Quacking Young joining in for Rockin' in the Free World Two Gallants/The Mummlers - Toronto 9/9/11 - Day before I got engaged. Came into the crowd to sing Broken Eyes with only an acoustic guitar and tambourine after a couple of guitar issues on stage David Gilmour - Toronto 3/31/16 - Finally a chance to see my favorite guitarist Sense Field - Seattle 5/11/02 - Walked out of the venue with my mouth hanging open unable to speak a coherent sentence for about 5 blocks Against Me!/Tim Barry/FEA - Syracuse 6/25/16 - Most cathartic show I've ever been too and my wife finally admitted how awesome Against Me! is after this show. Band of Horses - Ithaca 2/22/14 - Acoustic tour which may be my favorite show of all time Gnarls Barkley - Lollapalooza 2006 - Cee-Lo had a huge grin on his face throughout the entire set My Morning Jacket/Lizzo - Lewiston 7/22/15 - One Big Holiday at the most scenic venue I've ever been to. Tom Waits - Jacksonville 7/1/08 - Took some convincing to get me to go, but I was in awe the entire time and became a fan for life afterwards. Eric Clapton - Buffalo 6/15/01 - Went with my dad and sisters. Will never forget my dad jumping out of his seat and cheering when Layla started. Phish - Darien Lake 08/13/09 - Only time seeing Phish and made me realize what all the fuss was about. Sigur Ros - Bonnaroo 2008 - Capped off a legendary day where I saw my three favorite bands and BB King. My dad was asleep on his feet by the end. Radiohead/Beta Band/DJ Kid Koala - Barrie 08/03/01 - Only time I had the chance to see Radiohead after somehow grabbing a ticket that morning. Outkast - Governor's Ball 2014 - Best live rap performance I have been to. Deserved all the hype that tour got. White Stripes - Olympia 6/10/02 - Scalped a ticket and ended up in the front. So much fun.

And then there were several Volunteer Jams with Charlie Daniels and a boatload of great musicians. Hard to pick ten. Awesome thread, brought back a lot of good memories.

Reading through this thread makes me really happy to live in Atlanta.
I love to read opinions on live music and her what people think of certain bands, especially ones that I may have the chance to see myself. I hope there isnt a thread like this already but oh well, im sure someone will tell me if there is so its cool, win/win.
Heres mine: 10. Staind/3doorsdown/breaking ben/crossfade in 2005 my first concert in virgina beach. i know i know but staind was great 9. Shiny Toy Guns in 2009 at the Norva in norfolk va. It wasnt so much them but the bands that opened for them were awesome, I discovered a band called The Delta Fiasco that night and I would say that was the first time I was blown away by a band I had never heard of, shiny toy guns capped the night off nicely. 8. Heart 2009 in virginia beach On the beach.. breathtaking performance 7.Band of Skulls 2011 bonnaroo. band had energy 6.Portugal. the man 2011 saint louis mo. 4th time seeing them but first in a small venue. with lights and closeness it was amazing 5.My Morning jacket NYE Madison Square Garden 2008/9 if you dont know... 4. I mean come on, night 3 of an MMJ run is top-tier. Wordless Chorus, IWSYS, Wonderful, Circuital, Touch Me pt. 2, One Big Holiday. Nights like that are why I love this band.

The two nights I saw Jeff at the Metro are kinda inseparable, but this gets the spot because it was arguably the most important set of my life. It was where I decided to come out to my parents.

3. Arcade Fire @ United Center, Chicago, IL - 8/27/14 (Set 42)
AF have uh...fallen off recently, but these shows felt like the band was at the peak of the powers. Ideal setlist, great production and some fun twists on the songs.
The live recordings of the new songs sound decent though.
2. Metallica - Lollapalooza 2015 (Set 69)
One of the few positive memories I have of my dad. He turns 58 this year. That side of the family lives for a *long* time; his mother is pushing 90. But when he finally goes, memories like that set are what I'll hold onto.

Second row (center!) at The Police dress rehearsal show in Vancouver, the night before the first official date of their 2007 reunion...has to be in the top three, maybe #1. (Favorite band/drummer since I was 14 or 15.) The tickets were only $50 too!!!
Also up there would have to be Roger Waters at Desert Trip, weekend 2. Woke up in a hotel hundreds of miles away (attended a wedding the night before) bought a 3-day reserved seat in the bleachers for dirt cheap on StubHub (this was the last day mind you) and hauled ass to Indio...casually strolled in during The Who, everyone around me was like "WTF?" and that Roger Waters set was one of the most epic things I've ever seen. My first and still favorite time seeing him.

2. Nine Inch Nails - Shaky Knees 2022 (Set 266)
King Gizz straight into this was one of those "lightning in a bottle" moments.
1. Fleet Foxes @ The Coca-Cola Roxy, Atlanta, GA - 7/30/22 (Set 289)
One of the only concerts where I can remember having a big, goofy smile on my face the entire time. The move here has been rocky, but Saturday was the first time Atlanta felt like home.
I want to try to get this down now so it's easier to keep track of.
1.) Paul McCartney - Bonnaroo 2013 - A couple weeks after graduating from high school at my first music festival with my best friends. The emotions of that crowd have been unmatched for me since.
2.) Sufjan Stevens - Coachella 2016 - Might be recency bias but I don't know, this show was so great. Solidified Sufjan as probably my favorite artist of all time.
3.) Kanye West - Bonnaroo 2014 - We got in pretty much dead center right on the rail behind the pit. One of the most fun sets I've ever experienced. The production was great, I even liked his monologues, I left the set inspired to be great.
4.) LCD Soundystem - Coachella 2016 - Top 5 band of all time for me that I never believed I would have the chance to see. They lived up to all my expectations (made me want to go to Bonnaroo to see them again). Got great tributes for Prince and Bowie, and to top it all off, right before they started we got to watch Prince's Creep performance from Coachella on the giant screens.
5.) Tool (with Primus) - Phoenix, AZ, Halloween 2015 - They came out dressed as Led Zeppelin and covered No Quarter for the first time in like 15 years. That set the tone. The production blew me away and they sounded amazing.
6.) NYCH (with Alabama Shakes) - Red Rocks 2012 - I was not expecting him to rock so hard, it was pretty incredible. The dude still shreds on the guitar. Also Alabama Shakes opened before they had really blown up.
7.) Mark Knopfler - Red Rocks 2015 - My dad's favorite band of all time (and one of mine as well) was Dire Straits so my brother and I bought tickets for my whole family for his birthday. One of the tightest groups of musicians I have ever seen. Great show.
8.) Jack White - Bonnaroo 2014 - I loved uncle Jack's country bear jamboree. He's been involved in some of my favorite bands and getting to see all of that at one time was great. The encore was like as long as the fucking show.
9.) The Prodigy - Riot Fest 2015 - It was lit.
10.) System Of A Down - Riot Fest 2015 - I'm not even a huge SOAD fan but that was the most insane concert I have seen. Literally the entire crowd was a mosh pit.
Honorable Mentions: Fuzz, Ms Lauryn Hill, Caribou, Underworld, Sia, Deadmau5, etc... This was hard.
