someone already mentioned it here, but Hozier is confirmed. another one i heard was Umphrey's McGee. there are two other names that i've been told are "strong possibilities" that are so exciting i'm not going to risk jinxing it by writing them here. if they don't end up on the lineup i don't think i could deal with the disappointment / inforoo shaming.

the other is definitely a lower bill, but still exciting (for me at least) since their show sold out here really quickly a few months back and I don't think I'll be able to catch them at Roo this year.
yes but okay HUGE disclaimer here -- I was told he's a "strong possibility" and that he had reached out to LouFest a while back about playing this year but they were still in negotiations. truly i wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see him on the lineup come Friday, but good god if he is i'll be crying endless tears of joy until September.
Uhhh..... why am I so tempted to buy tickets? Hm. I think I'm going to let the lineup drop first. STL is only 6 hours away driving, less than an hour flight. Hmm..........

nice! this a good start for me if true but if it flops i wont be too mad. whose the other lower act you mentioned?
Also im going to 2 other festivals and they seem to be on the short list of fests to not have hot Chip and RTJ so hopefully they come here!

I haven't heard these rumors but I'd be v surprised if Wilco was on the lineup considering they just played The Pageant in STL last week
Plus, just headlined a couple years ago...but you never know since they kind of consider St. Louis home, also there is always the chance of getting Tweedy but not Wilco.

It's a really nice smaller festival. The setup of the festival (big area, wide open) makes so that it never feels crowded yet there isn't a ton of walking involved either at least once you are in.
I'm not sure what my staying arrangements will be yet, I go to STL shows quite a bit. Sometimes I get a hotel, but also have friends I'll stay with occasionally.

2. It seems that festivals have taking The Strokes plus at least one of Albert Hammond Jr/JC + the Voidz as a package deal (see: ACL Weekend One, Landmark). I'm not saying this confirms anything, but it makes the Strokes a frontrunner.

i got duped on the kendrick front (sad times) but the rest turned out to be true:
EDIT -- after having more time to look at this, i'm: 1. disappointed 2. worried it's going to get cancelled 3. kind of pissed tbh
their concentrated effort to get people to buy tickets at insanely low prices makes a lot more sense now. there's such a dramatic drop off after those first 2-3 lines and the first 2-3 lines aren't even that impressive. compared to last year's lineup this is a joke. whelp, it's been nice knowing ya, LouFest...
