I live in Kansas City and was super jealous of the last couple years lineups (all we have is Rockfest with bands like Korn and Rob Zombie, ugh). But this one is a stinker.
I'd be worried this gets cancelled too. Kanrocksas tried to pass off the Avetts as the headliner in 2013, and it got cancelled. At least Kanrocksas would have had Kendrick and Pretty Lights to go with.

Meh. I had no lofty expectations of Kendrick or Beck as headliners. But, I was hoping for Weezer as I'm probably going to miss them at another fest in late Sept. For the cost of $12.50/day for me and my kid, I'll hang onto the ticket, but it will be dependent on Pilgrimage Fest's scheduling.

After listening to some of the unknowns in this lineup there are quite a few worth giving a listen. Colony House, Knox Hamilton, Blue October.. Maybe a bit on the pop side. It's close for me (2 hours), It's cheap, kids are free, & we will have a great time.
I thought this was a shoo-in since kids are free and I have a free place to stay. But Riot Fest is the entire last 20 years of my life in a nice little package.
i gotta say even thoguh i dont like the lineup the schedule is good, there is some one in every block except for 2 i would want to see. Just wish the headliners were stronger. Also how did umph only get a 430 slot?
anyway my ticket is still for sale if anyone needs or knows someone who needs one
i bought an early bird last year since i loved the lineup in 2014 but hated the lineup in 2015 and was unable to sell it even for the $50 i paid lol. Still interested in this one but def will wait for the lineup. This thread doesnt get much action so prob no need for a new one.

yeah if i didn't live so close i would've been really upset. it was such a huge downgrade from 2014 i couldn't believe it. i still had a lot of fun tho.

i remember the schedule shaking out pretty decent and i almost attempted the trip solo since last min flights were pretty affordable and i a room with free cancellation.

Yeah, the price plus already living here in St. Louis makes it an easy decision for me to go. Even if the line up is mediocre at best.

Rockfest is lame, Buzz Beachball so much better and is being expanded to 2 days. This year will be July 16-17. Line up comes out on Monday.
My biggest complaint about Loufest the last two years was that they blew all of their money on the number 1 headliner and settled for an upper mid card 2 headliner (that is being generous to Loufest) but I guess they heard that and just spent nowhere near their budget on headliners at all. I care about three acts Cage >>>>>>> Noname>Weezer
