Anyone have any idea what lockn might do if Allman Bros cancel? I just read an article about Greg checking into a hospital July 2nd and how they might have to cancel the rest of their shows including Lockn. If you have any insight please share.

Just bought tickets for Lock'n I'm so excited to experience a different festival. I've only been to Bonnaroo so what should I expect ?and also what time do they allow people to start entering to setup camp?
Lockn has their own message boards and I've found a lot of information there. Lockn
Apparently getting in last year was a clusterfuck so hopefully they've learned from that experience. Make sure you've bought a camping pass if you're planning to camp as I've been told that was an issue as well last year, folks rolling in to the entrance without one can surely slow the traffic. Let me know if there's a roo meetup

Just bought my tickets last night. I can't wait to go to a Fest where I actually wanna see the entire lineup, very exciting. The drive from Chicago, not so exciting.
Bob Weir & RatDog announced today that they will cancel all remaining tour dates including the Jamaica event scheduled for January. Full refunds will be offered. No further information was made available as to why this decision was made as well as the status of any of Weir’s other shows including a headlining set with Furthur at this year’s Lockn’ Festival, which remains the only scheduled show for the band this year. Here’s a look at the full statement via Furthur’s Facebook page:Circumstances have necessitated that all scheduled tour dates for Bob Weir & RatDog are being cancelled. This applies to all dates on the summer tour starting on Thursday, August 14 in Boston through September 14 in Nashville and also includes the Jamaica event in January of 2015. Full and complete refunds are available at place of purchase. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.UPDATE: An official statement from the Weir camp to Jambands.com confirms that Weir will not appear with Furthur at this year’s Lockn’ Festival. Weir is off the road immediately and indefinitely.

I heard that this year won't be affected as there is an appeal in progress

Correct. The Virginia ABC won't be able to put anything in place involving the festival until the appeal is over, which will be a few months, thank god.
From everything I have read on the Lockn board, Furthur will still play there set Friday night...with maybe somewhat of an alternate lineup. With Ratdog scheduled for two sets I would think Lockn will add another band...even with it being on late notice. Can't imagine it would be anybody too big with the time restrictions...maybe Moon Taxi? Playing a show in GA on Thursday night and then are off until Sunday, could get them in for a Friday show.
All lockin says is they will have answers to all the line up questions tomorrow. Have to hope that we get more legendary rockers and not longer sets of the acts we already have SCI is doing three sets to offset an earlier cancelation.

I wouldn't count on a big add with it being so late in the game...somebody on the Lockn board though found a FB comment from the Lockn account answering a question and saying they're looking into to adding a replacement act.
