I've heard that his wall show is amazing And I've heard that it is terrible.
I'd definitely would wanna see it though on the farm.
I can't imagine anybody calling this show "terrible". It's truly a spectacle, and really an amazing concert. If you like The Wall at all, you'll really enjoy it. It might always have a place in my top 5.
Any roger waters show would be amazing, I am not sure about which stage production is better, because I've seen none of them, but DSOTM is my favorite album of all time, if waters were to come and play his DSOTM show it would absolutely blow my mind and i would possibly just stop goin mto shows all together after that. this is the only show that could get me to camp out at the what stage all day, not even Macca could get me to do that.
The title to this thread should be Roger Waters might play roo 2014. Would love for this to happen though. He has been rumored to play Roo forever and it never happens. What a show it be though
-It's lazy -It's intellectually dishonest -It makes it look an awful lot like you came to a conclusion, then googled for evidence to support it
That's fine if you call it lazy, but I knew exactly what incident caused me to form my opinion. I didn't just decide today that I felt Roger Waters was anti-semitic and got lucky on a goodle search that I was able to find some sort of evidence to back up that opinion.
Mostly this assertion just shows a lack of insight into what was being communicated to you. In case you missed it Pink Floyd has been bashing religion, government, violence, money, wives, mothers and the English education system for about the last forty years. Roger Waters may hate everyone but he doesn't exclusively hate the Jewish.
right but who knows what happened to the tech from dark side. he probably still has access to a wall setup.
Press release from the DSOTM tour: "The Roger Waters concerts will utilize elaborate large-scale video projections and theatrical staging to underscore and accentuate the power of the music which is delivered via a state-of-the-art 3600 quadraphonic sound system immersing the audience in a 3-dimensional hyperworld."
Don't see the sound set up being replicated on the farm. The projections are probably on hard drives collecting dust. I don't remember much about the stage - unlike The Wall - standing out.

they used the surround sound whatever at coachella in '08. there's no reason they couldn't use it at bonnaroo. however, i think being five years removed, it's more likely the wall is happening than dark side.

Woah woah, don't push it, DSOTM and the wall are both shows that waters has done within the last five years
what would be your ideal show assuming no DSOTM or Wall just curious
Idk if he does either of these, but I'd like to see him start at the beginning of Wish You Were Here and then just play all the way through and follow that up by doing the same with Animals. While these are not my favorite of their albums, they have always interested me the most. Animals specifically because if it weren't for the tour supporting that album and how much of a depressed point waters reached in his life, The Wall never could have been made. Wish You Were Here and Animals bridged the gap between two of the best albums ever made, so to hear the last song from DSOTM at the beginning of the show and a first one on The Wall at the end of the show would allow a look at the evolution of the group that many don't truly see/ understand because most people only focus on DSOTM and The Wall. That being said, I'd seriously prefer DSOTM, hahaha, but I think I'd prefer the show that I proposed over just The Wall, but I'm sure I'm in the minority on that one
When I saw him perform DSOTM in 2007, DSOTM was performed as a second set. The first set was a mixture of songs off of The Wall, Animals, Wish You Were Here, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun off of A Saucerful of Secrets and a couple solo songs. It was a wonderful mix of songs and a very memorable show. Hearing Sheep live was a landmark moment for me. I would love to Waters on the Farm!
02/08 Tool 02/11 Jeff Mangum 02/17 of Montreal 02/29 Blind Pilot 03/31 The Naked & The Famous 05/14 M83 and I Break Horses 05/19 Flaming Lips, Young the Giant, Dawes and AWOLNATION 06/07 Bonnaroo 2012!!! 06/13 Roger Waters 07/28 Toadies

I can't describe my jealousy of you, truly sir, I congratulate on seeing this spectacle that I would kill for

I think the Stones would be more likely than Roger Waters. The Stones may not be in 2014 but will eventually happen. If AC books Paul then the Stones are not unobtainable.

Roger on the farm would be great. I would rather see him do a normal show instead of The Wall though. Although I enjoyed The Wall show when I saw it, the whole thing felt like a production rather than a concert.
I saw Roger in 1999 and he was fantastic. The stage was set up like a living room and when a certain musician wasn't involved in the music, they would go sit on the sofa and play cards. One of the best show I have seen to this day.

2014's old geezer act will be Black Sabbath.
what you think is more likely is irrelevant.
Whatever. I would rather see the Stones than one part of Pink Floyd.
