Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
As awesome as I think the Roo lineup is, half the bands I'd want to see are also playing Govball (which Im already going to). The other half are playing Firefly....so I think I'll save the long trip and just go to FF this year.
That's exactly the boat I'm in as well. I'm not a fan of Kanye and while I'd like to see Elton, I'm not dying to see him like I was McCartney. So all the other bands I want to see are at GovBall and Firefly, so save a 14 hour drive, take the same amount of time off work, split across 3 weeks and spend slightly more money to go to 2 fests, one I can commute to in NYC and one I can camp at 95 minutes away.

I purchased this ticket then after talking to an acquaintance who went to this fest last year, I'm having immediate regrets...
I'm being told there are no poi, flower sticks, hoops and or glowing items of any kind allowed into the festival grounds?? I did notice the lack of the word art in the title, I guess I assume to much? someone on this board knows the truth

I remember seeing a lot of this stuff around the festival, maybe they stopped on Sunday though. There were definitely hundreds, maybe thousands of glowsticks being thrown around during Big Gigantic last year. Besides the hoops I think all of this was allowed.

I'm unaware of any festivals named "The ____ Music and Playing With Children's Toys Festival", but I wish you the best of luck in finding one.
seriously... I'm not going to justify my festival life to you. my regret had more to do with knowing I had to spend a weekend with such a wonderful person
do you go to brunch??? can I include things like that in the other half of the festival as well? you can rock a festival any way you want and I wont judge you, but could you stop raining on my parade just because I'm dancing along to some different music

It was $45 for the application fee, and $250 for the deposit... But I'm doing both roo and firefly and to make it cost effective since I'm taking 2 weeks off work plus doing Sasquatch in early July that volunteering is the way to do it!!!

Anyone going through Arkansas after Firefly? Me and my friend could use a ride back home...me and her are two college students with unreliable cars, but we have plenty of gas money to give...feel free to add me on facebook and message me if you could help out! here's my facebook: www.facebook.com/erich.washausen
P.S. I promise this isn't spam or anything, we just don't want to take a greyhound bus back to Arkansas if we don't have to!

Firefly announced on their instagram last night that shows have been extended until 2AM this year
That's awesome. They're really trying to make this festival top-notch. 2AM should give plenty of time after headliners to have a few really good shows for a couple hours. Hoping for Girl Talk, Pretty Lights, and Big Gigantic Fri/Sat/Sun.

Well that's good news. I'm not a huge fan of FF's lineup and am mostly going because it's close and I have friends that are going, but this should definitely make things more interesting!
Damn that sucks! I found someone through the ff facebook page willing to sell me one, but I told her I'd like to just wait until she gets the physical ticket and meet up with her and trade her cash for wristband in person. I don't really care if the wristband is in my name or not. If I have to I can always just make up some bullshit like shes my girlfriend and the wristband was under her name.

They're doing the name switch thing now because you had until today to change where the actual band is shipped to, but under that guise of convenience it's definitely an easier way to get scammed. Also, it's not even a registration thing at this point. I haven't seen anything that indicates they know or care who purchased the actual physical band initially. Definitely smart to wait until they ship - it's only a few more weeks right now.

I've bought tickets for festivals on Craigslist before. Only be willing to PayPal people. If they don't want to use PayPal it's usually a scam. PayPal will refund you the money if the tickets aren't real then they will get the person who scammed you too. Scammers don't deal with PayPal.

Looking for suggestions on the best way to get to Philly, DC, or Baltimore after Sunday Firefly to catch a earl as possible flight...
Open to suggestions. I was trying to split vacation time between firefly and bonnaroo but had to take one full week instead so I took the week off between the too.
