I have a feeling the Friday schedule is going to be a day of extremely hard decisions for me - even that little day by day breakdown had 9 bands I want to see.
Daily lineups are out on the Firefly Facebook page. Here ya go
Friday and Saturday are going to be brutal for me. They moved Beck and Third Eye Blind to Saturday. I bet Beck plays up against Imagine Dragons before Outkast.

Thanks for that, dude! I've got to start checkin' my FB more often.
Anyone do single day last year? Do you have to buy a companion parking pass just to park for the day or is there another area for one-day non-camping?
They have general parking for single days at the race track. FREE. Its about a 1/2 mi or 10 min walk to the venue. Not that bad. Companion parking is for overnight extra vehicles only.
What's the water situation like there? I'm used to being able to bring in a few large water bottles at Roo each day and avoid dealing with the water refill stations. Are they super strict on closed water bottles at Firefly?

I believe closed water bottles are fine.
The water refill stations were fine last year though, and they're adding even more. The longest I waited was maybe 2-3 minutes.

Parking is definitely free for the day - just be aware that it is not overnight fully - from the FAQ: Q: If I park in day parking, when do I have to leave at night? A: All cars are subject to be towed after 4:30am.
Kygo is being booked all across America and is probably still hoping to get booked to more gigs, really hope Firefly books him since they've dropped a few people such as Asaf Avidan and Typhoon.
I don't get the whole its embarrassing they haven't put out a schedule yet. Obviously its later than last year but every fest does their own thing. Coachella releases the week of, Lolla well in advance, Governors Ball just released yesterday and its two weeks earlier than Firefly. Believe me i'm just as anxious as I want to start my research as I always hold off to avoid creating more conflicts for myself.
I'm thinking we see it next week but they've had some last minute dropoffs and probably needed to make some additions and tweak the schedule. Someone pointed out the additions to the lineup page of jezabels, the secret sisters, kawehi and kite string tangle.
I really hope the fest learns a lot from this year. I'll cut 'em some slack since they're still a relatively new festival, but this is what, their third year? Between their "day of exciting announcements", the haphazard way in which they organize volunteering (I heard they sort everyone alphabetically by first name, so you have 10 Jasons working the same tent), and the aforementioned unpreparedness, I find myself not thinking very highly of the fest. Especially when prices for this fest or so high - it's what, an extra $125 to camp? Bullshit. - if this fest isn't awesome I don't think I'll be coming back next year.

Oh believe me they have some things to work on but they are building a big festival from the ground up over 3 years so I can cut them some slack on certain things as long as they execute at the festival. I attended last year and had a great time. From what I understand they almost doubled in size from year 1 to 2 and were expected to grow a bit more this year. I would say the premier camping is well worth it though. Last year I camped about 50 yards from the entrance to the festival which made all the difference in the world. I'm doing the same this year. I do wish the festival branched out a little more on genres as I'd prefer some more hip hop acts but i actually am looking forward to all 3 headliners. And with the whole camping charge- yeah it sucks if you were going solo or just 2 people but if you have 5 people its about 30 bucks a person and if you tack that on to the festival price its not over the top.
My main concern is them giving the Foo's a long enough set. I hope we at least get a solid 2 hours. If this is your first time at the fest though i'd say its actually a pretty relaxed atmosphere- no overbearing cops and the camping check in process was easy.

I definitely think they're trying - sure they're having mis-steps (which are mostly PR/announcement based) - but they're trying to make it a premier level festival. Some of the positive changes this year are the now 4 days of music and getting the curfew pushed until 2AM for shows. For someone like me in NJ, it gives me a real option to have a camping festival with multiple genres that is only 2 hours away.
The cost to camp is negligible when compared to gas and "getting to 'Roo" expenses for me. As far as the camping charges go - I'd rather pay and be guaranteed a marked 10x30. It really helps with planning, especially if you get a group with multiple campsites together.
Checking out last years schedule it looks like they gave Petty 1hr 45 and started the headliners around 10pm each night - I'm sure they could adjust for the Foo's with the extra hour to play with now.

All excellent points. I feel like they have improved the actual event each year as far as logistics go, but they are moving backwards in the front office. Remains to be seen whether this year's North camp addition will be an improvement or not. You can't tell from the maps (goolgle or others) where the road is...Hub logistics and waste removal are going to suffer. I haven't been to Bonnaroo yet, but from photos, I think the camping situation is 10X better at Firefly (cost aside)
DISCLAIMER: I will attend this festival every year regardless of line-up or nuisance.
I think they should go ahead and ship my FF tickets so I can sell them in time for Bonnaroo. Ugh
i've never been less excited to go to a festival. this lineup feels like it lacks a punch (which has likely been hashed over previously in this thread). also, i've heard negative things about the crowd's energy/attitude as a whole. hopefully, my low expectations will have me pleasantly surprised.
While there were definitely more frat bros and females of the like than Bonnaroo, it wasn't even close to having a negative impact on my weekend last year. For the most part, everyone was super friendly and I had a wonderful time.
I do agree that this year's lineup does not have a lot to offer, which is the sole reason I'm not attending since I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. But I'm sure I would have fun if I did go. Bring those Bonnaroo vibes to Dover!

Thanks for the encouraging words about FF. I definitely don't expect to go in with bad vibes, but I just find myself not looking forward to it as much as GovBall, ACL (potentially), and, even, MIA. This will be my only camping fest this year, so I am excited about that aspect.
