For people out of town and driving in, I would recommended Spothero.com. I have parking about .6 miles away from the gates from noon-midnight Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for $32 total. If you drive in and just pull into a garage or lot expect 20-35 bucks per day. Can't recommend spothero any higher.

Sunday: sleep. -> White Denim -> beer -> Run the Jewels! -> Chromeo -> drift aimlessly for 3 hours -> Darkside! -> Nico Jaar aftershow!
I found exactly 0 bands to get excited about researching the lineup. At least the weather looks great for Sat/Sun. Friday now 50% chance of scattered T-storms. Looking forward to seeing how much I charged to my credit card linked to my wristband this weekend. I chose to make my pin 2337/BEER in case anyone feels like robbing me.
I am not going to Blood Orange or Chvrches at Berlin. Chrvches look so much better at night than during the day and I'll probably see Blood Orange on Friday. I was invited to a kegger on Saturday that I'm probably going to instead of Flume. I make poor decisions often, this weekend will be no exception.

Well bout time to do the damn thing. Was reminiscing about last year and a card that included NIN, The Cure, Phoenix, Mumford, The Killers, Postal Service, Queens of the Stone Age, The National, etc and it made my head hurt when I looked back at the schedule for this year. :sigh:

Chvrches also put on a fantastic show, but I feel they were more in their element on a smaller stage at night. Lights were subtle but fantastic. I didn't understand the swooning over Lauren Mayberry until last night. One more "Thanks guys" and I would have been on the floor myself. Better than anticipated.
My wife and her friends went to the Chvrches DJ set at Berlin last night. There was an actual freak show going on with electrocutions, girls rolling on broken glass, etc. She met Ethan from Crystal Castles. I still can't believe I'm not there.

I went to that shit last year. Holy. Fuck. I saw some freaky shit including shots off of penises, penis mutilation, drag shows, then I got drunk and blacked out and woke up in my hotel.

Eminem was fantastic, much better than last time. Interpol was also great but finished 10 minutes early which was kinda disappointing. Also, if you're there don't snooze on those schnitzel sandwiches with the spicy mustard, possibly the highlight of the festival so far.

Why yes, Mayberry is quite nice. I didn't get all the idea of that gold stuff around her eyes though.

It's for the best you blacked out. Your purity score probably went down 2-3 points that night alone.
Bummed I missed watching Jagwar Ma on the stream, mostly because I completely forgot that was a thing that's happening. Three Stacks is goofing on stage right now, I'm loving this Outkast set.

Looooooved Outkast. Andre was into it. Big Boi brought it. The band was solid as hell. It was just a great show. Crowd was better than expected, though my expectations were low.
Parquet Courts was a great way to start the day. Second time I've seen them, and the new album sounds great live. Love the transitions between songs, they don't miss a beat.
Whole lotta nothing in the middle, though I did find Foster the People out on a fun show, much to my surprise. Grouplove is the worst, though.
