Between GovBall and Firefly not putting out a schedule yet and Made In America not even putting out a lineup, I feel like I'm in Festival purgatory with nothing to discuss.

6/5-6/6 - Gentleman of the Road - Seaside
6/17-6/21 - Firefly
7/22 - U2 @ MSG
9/5-9/6 - Made in America - Philly
They're now saying make sure you are signed up for e-mail list - I'm calling schedule either tomorrow or tonight (far less likely) - no later than Thursday - but I think tomorrow is finally the day

I'm really disappointed they waited this long. It feels like the festival is next week. I just really hope I can see Fitz and the Tantrums and Damon Albarn.
between this schedule being released tomorrow, and MIA actually releasing a lineup on thursday, this is turning out to be a decent week in festival news.

Over the last hour I went from pissed that they haven't released the schedule to scared as shit that the conflicts will be horrendous. At least I'll finally be able to plan tomorrow.
Ooof. Outkast vs. Damon Albarn, Broken Bells vs. Disclosure, The Strokes vs. Childish Gambino are the 3 I see for me right off the bat. Think I will be going Outkast, Broken Bells, Strokes though.

Outkast vs Damon will be awful and result in a massively crowded main stage! Looks like I'm picking up a ticket to his Sunday aftershow since Interpol end so early (and I really have no interest in seeing VW again).
Also, anyone know how close the GovBallNYC stage is to the Big Apple Stage? Looks like I'm be running from The Strokes to Spoon.

if youre looking for Albarn tix stubhub has some listed for around 80, best price ive seen.
Outkast vs Damon would be a terrible conflict for me. I think I made the right decision to do Roo instead this year, especially since I saw Outkast at Coachella and will be seeing them again in August.

Nice! Considering face was pushing $60, that isn't too bad. I'm also seeing him in Boston the Monday after, but I feel like they're throwing him to the dogs with such an awful slot. ???

Also, like I feared I'll have to miss a good amount of acts I wanted to catch because I'll be going in after work. Might be able to get to leave an hour or two early but still going to miss Jason Isbell, Kurt Vile, Janelle Monae. Damn. Oh well. Taking time off for Roo and other stuff so I have to live with it.

Yea, everything else for me is good. It's just that Outkast/Albarn thing. I guess I could skip Albarn and just see him at Bonnaroo but I was looking forward to catching both.
Outkast vs Albarn, Jack vs Skrillex, and Disclosure vs Broken Bells are all so painful. Ugh! I miss when this fest had non conflicting sets.
Why is Skrillex v Jack bad for you? You'll be able to see both at Bonnaroo the week after, correct?
I'm pretty confident I am going to choose Broken Bells over Disclosure. Really sucks since I won't be able to see Disclosure at Roo either.
I'm skipping Jack entirely at Bonnaroo so I can be front and center for the Skrillex superjam.. And I am skipping Skrillex solo at Roo so I can see Die Antwoord.

Looks like my weekend will be:
Friday - The 1975 > Bastille > Jenny Lewis > Phoenix > Grimes > Outkast (Im gonna be very upset missing Damon though) Saturday - Chance the Rapper > Broken Bells > The Strokes > Sleigh Bells > Jack White Sunday - Banks > Frank Turner > Tyler The Creator > J. Cole > Foster the People > Empire of the Sun > Vampire Weekend

The grounds itself isnt too big, but it is pretty much separated into two sides. One side has the GovBallNYC stage and Gotham tent within a short distance, then its like a 5 minute walk to the otherside where the Honda and Big Apple stages are.
