I see Jack White is one of the scheduled performers for Bob Dylan's Musicares tribute show. Wonder what song Jack will cover? Foot of Pride would be pretty epic but I'm sure whatever he does will be highly entertaining.
I love this cover but would love to see Jack cover something else from Dylan. "Idiot Wind" or "Ballad of a Thin Man" would be ideal for me.

Next week, Jack White will return to the road for a European leg of tour dates behind Lazaretto. These shows mark White’s first since his touring keyboardist, Isaiah “Ikey” Owens, tragically died from a heart attack while the band was touring in Mexico. To fill the void, White has now recruited Queens of the Stone Age’s Dean Fertita to play piano and keyboard for all of his forthcoming dates, including his show at Madison Square Garden next January.
White said in a statement, “Although it is impossible to replace Ikey, the incredibly talented Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age, The Dead Weather) will be joining the band to play piano and keyboard for all of Jack’s currently announced tour dates.”

Jack White keyboardist Isaiah “Ikey” Owens tragically passed away from a heart attack while on tour with White in Mexico last month. Following a brief hiatus from the road, White enlisted longtime collaborator Dean Fertita to replace Owens and embarked on a European/UK leg earlier this month. This week, White and co. played the final date of the tour in London, and White took time out of the set to pay tribute to his late bandmate.
He asked the audience to applaud in Owens’ memory and then dedicated to him a performance of “Love Interruption”, a track from his first solo album, Blunderbuss. Watch fan-shot footage of the tribute below (scroll to the 5:00 mark).
On this current tour? It is only the five states that he hasn't gone to, on his current tour for Lazaretto.
The wording of it makes me think it is states he has never played before. Not just on the Lazaretto tour.
I don't know. I read what was written on his page, did some research and other sites have said it was for this current tour. WTF do I know? Oh, I know that New Orleans is out. I do know that. So I guess it doesn't matter for me.
EDIT: In the last 4 years, since going solo, he hasn't played Alaska, Montana, Virginia or North Dakota.

He's probably going to just be taking a break for a year or two until the next Dead Weather album comes out. Either way, it'll be good to take a break as the last year or two was really great in terms of showing what he can do as a top level act at festivals and big shows.

Anybody have the slightest clue when this is going down? The tough part would be spending a whole day around the theater. Even if he comes to VA or WV, I doubt it would be within an hour of the New River Valley.

He's played Charlottesville VA. Anybody see any NJ dates? He's probably played Atlantic City but I haven't found anything so far.
Edit: Nvm, White Stripes have played in Camden. Drats.

Ok based off Setlist.fm data for solo, White Stripes, Dead Weather, Raconteurs leaves the following states: Alaska Arkansas Hawaii Idaho Iowa New Hampshire North Dakota South Dakota Vermont Wyoming
It's very possible I missed some. Can anyone else help with process of elimination?

I thought that he had played Alaska before, and he is playing Hawaii tomorrow. EDIT: pops beat me to this.
fuckkkk. even if he did play in south dakota, I wouldn't know until that morning at 8AM... and it takes 4 fucking hours to drive to sioux falls (I'm assuming he'd play there if he was in sodak), so I would get there right at doors. I need this to happen though. I do have friends who would hold my place in line....
