the whole fest is pretty weak and really disorganized from the start this year. i dont have much hope that the inside has improved much since it took forver to get a lineup and there is still no schedule when we are under two weeks away. every other fest i follow gives constant updates on anything you need to know except for this one.

Pretty sure this has always been the case with this fest. I remember last year the schedule didnt get released until something like 2 days before.
i dont even remember thats pretty sad espically last eyar when they only had 1 city to worry about. almost every other fest gives a schedule like 2 months in advance if not more. im only attending from 7 tol close but still i wanna see what time i can schedule my breaks around so i know who i can run and check out

yeah every fest except the biggest festival in this entire country....stop complaining
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
And a lot of smaller fests actually keep the schedule hush until the last possible moment. FreeFest did this. Newport Folk does this. I wonder if it's a promise they make to help get artists at a better price.
what are you taling about? most festivals have a schedule out at least a month before hand. this fest has been done poorly in every aspect in the last 2 years that i have followed and attended it.

I'm more worried they would just move everything back in the day and use tiesto as the headliner. that'd be the worse case scenario and sadly the most plausible in my mind

my thinking is they would just try to get someone from LA to replace them if needed. If Imagine Dragons didnt play last year i could see them being considered. But man it would suck if Tiesto closed the whole fest out and im not even agaisnt him like that either. wonder if this is why we still dont have a schedule?

Well everything I've read seems to indicate KOL isnt cancelling Made In America and it'll be their first show back. Still, thats what Mumford and Sons said last year at Bonnaroo, and then they cancelled the day before.
I would be fuming if Tiesto closed out the fest. Its Jay Z's festival though and he just finished a summer tour. He could step in for the rescue. If not, I'm sure he's got a large roledex and can call in a favor to someone big.
no matter what they say I don't believe jays curates this festival or honestly has anything to do with it outside of paying budwieser a ton of money to have his name on it and getting himself, bey, and kanye to headline.

im sure Jay has some say in whihc acts play. plenty of artists are involved in the lineup discussion with other fests too.
the article said their drummer was told he has to rest the rest of the month but does it make sense to literally play the day after the month ends, is that really any different? Should be an interesting next few days
schedules out. outside of missing a few acts on the skatepark stage theres no conflicts for me since i don't ever plan on going near the edm stage and the two main stages are staggered

yea i hear that. i get to attend after 7 and on Saturday id like to catch Aoki but i dont wanna be around that crowd so im gonna chill out and wait for Kanye. Happy ill get to see Pharrell on sunday too

They dropped the price of LA single tickets 20 bucks. Labor day weekend? All the locals are out of down and this fest is not worth travelling for. It's probably undersold.
Bought a ticket for Sunday, because why not?

Edit: Cypress Hill (which has a very appropriate set time of 4:00-4:40) -> Weezer -> Chance the Rapper -> Rise Against -> John Mayer -> Kanye
A buddy of mine left for philly to head to this fest earlier in the morning. I was considering heading down to meet up with him because tickets seem to be pretty reasonably priced... But this lineup is just horrible. I'd rather stay home grill some food and watch tv.
