Well fuck. I like the Nites lineup better than the overall FFF lineup.
Whaaa? Nites is great, but there is no Murder City Devils or Neutral Milk Hotel on that lineup.
I've seen NMH so many times now it doesn't feel special anymore. Honestly, after that MCD record, I'm not sure how I'd feel about seeing them. Most of the other stuff that I'm excited about during the day are playing Nites. I think that's why I like it so much.
Har Mar Superstar is pretty awesome im digging this sound. but my friend is telling me this dude likes to strip to his undies and dance during shows is that really true?
Har Mar Superstar remains the worst show I have ever seen. I saw him open for Of Montreal a few years back, so I was fully expecting weird. What I got was a Ron Jeremy look-a-like in tighty-whities singing along to his iPod (literally inbetween songs he picked up an iPod and started the next track) during which a drummer and bassist played something, but weren't mic'ed or amplified at all.

Which is what makes Har Mar so awesome. He had/has another band called Sean Na Na that is more instrument/song oriented.
ah man. by the sound of his music it seems like there is a decent band. the recorded songs ive heard i have enjoyed so far. He is actually palying here in Philly tomorrow for 12$ i might stop by to check it out
Don't want to jinx myself, but it's looking like my work schedule might lineup perfectly with FFFFest! Been too long since I've been, need to rectify that.

Schedule is out. I'm hating the 4 o'clock conflict on Friday of Run The Jewels, Sun Kil Moon, and John Waters. 3 o'clock Saturday with METZ, Gary Numan, and Courtney Barnett all overlapping isn't good for me either. I'm thinking of heading to The Moody for Cass McCombs, Meat Puppets, and Dinosaur Jr. Saturday night, but will probably end up at Beerland for Meat Bodies, Purling Hiss, OBN III's.
love the schedule. i dont really have any conflicts at the moment. sour notes and Digital Wild both have 1130 am sets but play back to back Nites sets at the same venue which makes that so much easier. anyone know why Pizza underground isnt on there?

For a good time see Scott H Biram at 5:15 in the Yellow tent on Sunday. Looks like I'll be late to whoever I choose between my Yo La Tengo and Sky Ferreira conflict.
edit: Just realized Gibbs and Madlib will be on during the start of Scott's set. I'll probably end up late for that instead.
God damnit. Fri NITES is so difficult. Deafheaven, MSTRKRFT, or SOHN.
I was thinking of going to Red 7 for Fat White Family and Twin Peaks then heading over to The Mohawk for Ted Leo. I'll see both bands, just not Leo, at the park so I could end up at MSTRKRFT though I don't know where the hell Vulcan Gas Company is at the moment.

Yea I'll likely end up at MSTRKRFT just due to the fact I can see the other 2 at the fest.
I was wondering the same thing. Then I saw a list of their tour dates, which showed a gig at The Belmont at 11pm on the Saturday. It also listed it as a Nites show.
They are selling tickets at the venue's site HERE for $10, which I thought was not common with Nites shows..?
Also, since I first looked, the page has added 'Free with a FunFunFun Fest Wristband'.
This is all in contrast to the fact all mention TPU has vanished from the app as of the last update...
