Personal opinion: If you've never seen Jamie XX, that's the way to go. He's played the US a few times but not enough that you'll be able to catch it again soon. WoD & White Lung play so frequently that will be a lot easier. Sun Araw is such a get but he has a new record coming out. I'm betting this is the precursor to a full tour.
I think I just talked myself out of White Lung, too.

He is the current leader since I am already going to be at the CAM anyway for HTDW, and as the map reminded me, the CAM is way away from everywhere else.

I'm actually listening to White Life now. There were some bands that I left off my research this year and feel horrible about it.

P.S. It's always weird/awesome to have people post in this thread aside from me, gl, noage and summerteeth post in here.

Thanks for the warm welcome! My buddy Festival Snob steered me in this direction. Last year I won VIP tickets through RTP on twitter and drove down on Friday. Needless to say, I only saw The Breeders. I'll be walking into this year a "virgin" as far as knowing the layout of the land. Maps seem user friendly and I'm content with walking venue to venue. Fingers crossed I catch on quick! What's the chance of these venues hitting capacity? Also, what's the difference between all show passes & GA 3 day passes? What about media? Any perks?

Last year was my first year and first time in Raleigh maybe ever, and I never had a problem finding any of the venues. We threw out some guesses a few pages back about what venues/shows may hit capacity. I just remember the HTDW/Jamie xx back to back and something at Slim's just because Slim's is such a small venue. I think all shows passes and GA 3 days passes are the same thing with it only being a difference in the terminology used, but I might be wrong. I have no idea about media perks.
Fuck, he does love some Skrillex! Lucky for him ol' Skrilly is doing a 2 night run in Nashville at one of our shittiest venues! I'll scroll through some of the older posts and see if that answers my plethora of stupid questions! I'm so fucking excited I could shit myself!
