Due to unforeseen circumstances with work I had to cancel for this year. Both of my backup drivers at work can't fill in for me. One got arrested on felony charges and the other is having his second child this Friday. I'm super bummed, but had a feeling shit wasn't gonna work out.
Do the last sets of the night ever go over? I'm wondering if I should just go back to the hotel at the end of the night or wander around and see if bands are still playing.

If by fun you mean work, then yes, I will be up to my ears in fun. At least I'm not the one that went to jail on felony charges so that makes me feel somewhat better.
There may be a decent probability I'm going to be on crutches for this. Chances are looking pretty grim for "hopscotching" and more like "I was there but didn't see them".
Lesson learned. Always check the depth of the pool before jumping from a second story balcony.
