I don't know how to work that equipment but I know one thing he was working hard/sweating up there in 2012. I was in love when the camera would pan to him concentrating/listening with his headphones to mix with the crowd in the back. I could never sit in my house and listen to skrillex, or even hardly at a party. If there is one time skrillex is allowed in my life its 3am Bonnaroo. I should also be at the jam, that is going to be super interesting.

Me too. Apparently I give the general public way too much fucking credit. And some of the blatantly racist comments I saw on FB last night were pretty frightening. Half the time they were in the same comments that mentioned peace and vibez. I have no words.
And if some of these jerks are serious about throwing batteries and whatnot at the stage, that's just plain wrong.
Im so excited Kanye is playing. This is the year I can't make it to the farm, so it's a perfect year for him to fuck up Bonnaroo along with all the other 'acts' they brought in to pad his name.

If I see someone trying to throw stuff at the stage they won't need to worry about Kanyes set, They will be waking up afterwards in the medical tent. Unless they're bigger than me then I will politely ask them to not do that please.

The amount of people bitching about Kanye has me really, really worried. I have no doubt that everything on Kanye's end will go down without a hitch, but for once in my life, I don't have faith in Bonnaroovians. The amount of negativity is just so over the top. I know people complain every year, but I have my fingers crossed that nobody boos him or throws stuff at him. Seriously, if your problem was that he was late, why would you punish him for being on time? If you were there in 08, and you just HAD to boo him or throw stuff at him, you should have done that then. If you weren't, then you have NO REASON to have a grudge against him. If Bonnaroo and Kanye can both move on, you should be able to too.
Oh and if you just don't like him, find something else to do! Get some sleep, grab stuff from your camp, or camp out for a late night slot. If you're like me and my friends and you hate Tom Petty, do what we did last year and just go to the back of the field and complain about him to an extent that doesn't bother others who are enjoying the show.

Given Bonnaroo's past with Kanye, there is no way they would book him again unless they were 100% sure they could make it happen in a way both parties are happy with.

Usually what happens is the idiots who are vocal about doing something stupid are usually the last people to go through with it. They will say they will cause a scene, throw stuff, other stupid stuff and then when the time comes have no intention(or balls) of doing so, and go about their business, stay at camp or do somethign else, and then when you ask them why they didn't do it will give you a response like "I didn't want to give him the satisfaction".

What percentage of people commenting negatively about Roo/Kanye for this do you think were actually at the 2008 set? I'm guessing it's an extremely LOW number.
