Bands like Cut Copy could play a tent slot later in the day and be fine. Same with the other synth pop acts like Classixx and Chvrches. And I'm sure Bonnaroo is going to give Darkside the SBTRKT slot.
Skrillex, Kaskade, Zedd, Glitch Mob, Disclosure all are probably locks. They'll toss a superjam or two on late night, plus with the renewed commitment to the "roots" of the fest im sure something jammy will get on there. Then there will be a hip hop set or two, and there you go.
I'm almost hoping Umphrey's doesn't get a late night this year. I love their sunrise sets, but I think there are so many other great late night possibilities, I don't want my night to be monopolized by them, and they still put on a great show during the day.

I'm hoping that they are going to have a World Music themed day again in the Other tent leading into some sort of combination of Goat/Master Musicians of Jajouka/Omar Souleyman late night.

IS the ? Superjam a sign that it will be played on the which stage? Or is it just they had an artist back out and they didn't get the Superjam booked in time for the lineup drop? I would assume both the Skrillex and ? Superjam would get a late night set.

Umphreys McGee will forsure be a nasty late night set, everytime they play at the roo they go hours past there set time. Also the skrillex set will obviously be the shit but I think break science will be epic as well and since they're signed with pretty lights Ide imagine they would be an all night set as well as long as no one else is scheduled to play after them I could forsure see me going all night

I think Break Science will be on Thursday and not all night by any means. Especially with all the late night options on this lineup.

True, there's plenty more late night acts other than them forsure but judging by what I know from them and the other artists that most likely will be late night sets I think they have a pretty good chance of playing a bit past there set time especially if they don't play Thursday and it's a Friday or Saturday...there still up and coming and will be putting on the best show they can so the odds of them going pretty late as long as there set time allows them to is pretty good I think...speaking of set times I forget but when does bonnaroo usually release the schedule for the line up?

Theres no right answers. Even the late night predictions that I think are easier just mean a more terrifying early evening

This is a strange year for LN as there are 10 acts in the top 25 that could warrant a show after the Headliner. Usually the LN tents are populated with acts 20 or lower on the bill. Random thoughts: -Cut Copy has to be LN (right?). Not only are they tailor made for it, they're high enough on the lineup to get it (21). -I think Phoenix is too big for the Which stage. -I think Darkside will play on Thursday. -Kaskade is listed 13th on the lineup...his tent is going to be crowded. If it weren't for Skrillex, I'd put him on Which no problem. But I can't get the schedule right with him on Which. -There could be a curve ball where Flaming Lips are Which closers before the HL. Seems unlikely though. If so, Kaskade takes it. -If Cut Copy and Disclosure conflict I may cry for hours. -Roo likes to put one or two random LN acts every year. I'm betting Master Musicians this year.
By my logic that leaves approx 15 acts to fill the 13-14 LN spots available each year. (* = highly likely) Skrillex* Flaming Lips* Kaskade* Skrillex Superjam* Superjam ?* Wiz (probably deserves an * as he would add diversity to the LN shows) Disclosure* Cut Copy* Zedd* Chromeo* UM* Ice Cube* Glitch Mob (Seems appropriate for LN, but they are 52 on the lineup and don't add any diversity to the LN shows) Cake (My dark horse) Die Antwoord The Master Musicians...
I think Break Science and Darkside both close tents on Thursday night. Not technically Late Nights but will certainly play when the suns down
This is exactly what I was thinking, the Late Night possibilities are already too deep before even considering these 2 acts. Thursday going a little later into the night with these 2 would be absolutely great.

good point..... i guess it'd be better to just get it over with in one night.. at least that would lessen the conflicts for one night.
but spreading over both nights also gives me a two spots for both days with one less conflict... although i'll probably go to his superjam just because i like edm and i'm interested to see who his "friends" would be. if it gets too wub wubby then i'd be out tho.
kaskade will be which on friday. he's too big for a tent and and he's headlining spring awakening sunday night so i'd assume playing LN saturday wouldn't give him enough time to get to chicago and set up in time for this sunday night HL spot.
