The Superjam with Skrillex will either be amazing or a messed up train wreck. Many will go for both reasons. I expect a lot of people to leave Jack White early.

I'm seeing Jack White at Forecastle and I'll already be at the other tent for James Blake, so I plan on moving directly up and trying for the front row of the Skrill Superjam when Blake ends. The combo is too weird and unique. As much as I'd like to see Frank Ocean and Nick Cave, I have a fleeting hope that both of those shows will happen again. I can't say the same for this.

I'm gonna catch some Cut Copy, a couple Lauryn Hill songs, and the end of James Blake and try for the front also.. I'm hoping missing Jack White is crazy enough that this could be possible.. I know I'll see Jack White again.. This superjam has potential to be one of the most epic performances of the summer, and I dont want to miss out and it get more packed then Sleigh Bells years back...

Yeaaah, I'll be going into Jack White rol-RED BULLING, leaving early to catch a good spot for SKRILLEX. So I can Red Bull properly there. I love Red Bull or something
1) I was there two years ago for Skrillex at the Which Stage. 2) I thoroughly enjoyed that show even though it was 15-20 minutes short. 3) The show on Monday night was 100x better than the show two years ago both in music AND production.
You want the kicker?
4) I was 100% sober on Monday and decidedly happy to see everyone two years ago.
The bottom line is this. If you're on the fence between Skrillex and another artist, you should head towards the mothership. You won't regret it. I promise.
one of my favorite moments from a few roo's back was when everyone was talking about skrillex, and I was like, "hmmm, I've never heard of them before". then one night, on the farm, i'm roaming through the fields sober, (i had a headache early that night) i'm walking up to this insane music and sight. crowd going insane, awesome music, i FELT the energy, it was ELECTRIC. i saw the energy rise above the crowd. and i looked up and said, "WOW, we are putting on a show for aliens in the sky right now." and then i got closer and saw that skrillex was in a fucking spaceship. amazing concert, totally sober, that's when this ol' hippie got in to electronic music or whatever you call it- i don't know the genres!!

Well I'm sad I can't just move forward at the end of James Blake now. Gotta run back and catch the tail end of Cut/Copy to get a good spot.
But this was clearly the right move. Honestly, they probably should've moved Nick Cave and Darkside to Other, but at least the superjam won't be as dangerous.
As pointed out on reddit. The skrillex superjam has been switched locations (the other to this) with frank ocean and glitch mob.
But now Frank Ocean is going to be super crowded in the Other Tent. I would have switched Nick Cave and Darkside into the Other Tent
I completely agree, but I'm more worried about Glitch Mob than Frank.
Frank has heavy competition. Glitch Mob only has Kaskade and Darkside, and with the Roo crowd they might be as big as Kaskade. The Other Tent will be packed.
But I'll miss the Other Tent entirely that night, so good luck to everyone heading there.

I personally feel like Darkside should be playing late night Thursday in contrast to Ty Segall.. That would free up a lot of our Saturday night conflictions. Especially given the fact that Thursdays are usually for showcasing new, up and coming artists
