Those pics look really psychedelic and impressive! That stage setup certainly would, as have their previous stage setups, translate well to a LN on Which.

Sleeping on the Roof Look…The Sun Is Rising The Terror The W.A.N.D. Race for the Prize Virgo Self-Esteem Broadcast Silver Trembling Hands Try to Explain Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (part 1) Gates of Steel (DEVO cover) Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (The Beatles cover) A Spoonful Weighs a Ton
Encore: Do You Realize??
Nice setlist, especially W.A.N.D. > RftP and The Beatles cover into Spoonful.
What do you think the odds are that we get a Sgt. Pepper's set (as opposed to just a few covers)?
I seriously doubt it.. When they covered Dark Side in 2010, it was listed as such on the lineup.. Dont think theyd do a set of nothing but covers without making that clear in advance.

Is the second perofrmance he's talking about related to the Superjam?
That just means he is helping choose 2 winners for the sonic bids contest: This year, Bonnaroo is offering two performance slots exclusively to Sonicbids artists. Selected artists will be invited to perform at the annual four-day, multi-stage festival alongside acts like Elton John, Kanye West and Jack White. In addition to playing for more than 90,000 fans, bands will receive $1000 in compensation and be included in a variety of high-profile event materials (including a full-page bio on the official Bonnaroo website) and press opportunities.
Also new this year: selections will be curated by music industry institution Billboard and the iconic Wayne Coyne, music innovator, psych-rock-sage and frontman of the Flaming Lips!
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

So they got the same spot as in 2010. In 2010 the which stage was PACKED as hell, and that was even considering that they were conflicting with the black keys, bassnectar, and daryl hall with chromeo. I somehow sense much less hype from people for this year though. I'm excited as hell myself though... The only thing that would keep me from that show is a beyond ridiculous crowd like last time. Do you guys think it's going to get as crowded as in 2010?

This will be my first time seeing the flaming lips and I couldn't be more excited. I'm going to try and get pit for this one, just hate the fact that I'm going to have to leave jack white early.

I hope not. But my back was in so much pain that night I couldn't enjoy their set at all, so I'm lookin' forward to a chance to get in the groove this year.
It is a sad day when the frontman of a band that has been a huge and influential part of your life turns out to have either lost it completely or been putting up a front the whole time. Wayne's always been about making your own happiness and radiating positivity.. or so he claimed. I don't even know what exactly to make of all this yet, other than it's a huge steaming pile of bullsh*t.

"(For those who don't know, a headdress is a symbol of respect which is earned. Each feather in a headdress is representative of a good deed or a fierce battle won. It is, in my opinion, not something to be worn the same way you would wear a t-shirt or a hat or whatever.)"
The other bit was that Christina Fallin posted the pic with the caption "Appropriate Culturation," essentially knowing damn well what the controversy was and jumping into it anyway.

I don't see what's wrong with wearing something you think looks good. If I see beauty in the traditional clothing of another culture who are they to tell me I can't wear it.
If I wore a kimono because I liked it and a japanese person criticized me for it I'd probably troll them too.
I see nothing wrong with wearing something because you want to wear it, and it's pretentious and douchey to tell someone they shouldn't be wearing it.
Let me demonstrate:
Look at this guy
In my westerm culture the tuxedo is a symbol of class and respect. Who is this foreigner to parade around in the garb of my culture like he's earned the respect to wear a tuxedo
