Yeah a MMJ appearance would have almost definitely gotten me there. I still vote this over Vibes- especially since I am already going to two jam festivals this year and don't really want a third- so hopefully my friends will choose this!

MMJ was the deal breaker. Although Flying Lotus is awesome gonna head to Osheaga instead.
I wouldn't go that far. It's decent, kind of generic though. I think that tentative mock just got me expecting better. But there's still plenty to be excited about! No accounting for taste though.
Maybe the lineup isn't your aim but you are kidding me if you think this is a shitty lineup. At least it's not a jam festival which the NE is littered with in the summer.

I'm a little bummed about no mmj but very please to see the lips and Modest Mouse. This is surprisingly close to what they were shooting for! It looks like they plan on adding more acts by referring to this as the first round of artists. I'm hoping that there will be a few more big names in the next lineup announcement , it could be like firefly's first year where they added Modest Mouse Bassnectar and silversun pickups after the initial lineup.

Launchpad, I can't believe you've never seen STS9! Very surprising considering most of the shows you talk about. I've caught them a few times and they're a really fun show. Interested to see how the new lineup sounds.
Considering selling my mountain jam tix and buying tix for this.

Pretty sure I'm in - it's just more manageable post-Roo than Forecastle for me. And unlike bonzai no one is going to force me into some crunchy jamfest

haha. It's my best friend's 30th birthday... However, I am considering going back on my word- saying that I'll do whatever fest they choose. I think she'd like Hudson more anyways, so I'm just hoping they choose that...
