Looks like Action Bronson is the first addition to the lineup... Just thought it was worth noting... Really hoping they add at least one more name to the top line.
Yesterday I was looking at the site trying to decided if I could/should swing it as a last minute thing, but I decided that it would not be very smart for me to do...
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I hadn't heard of Oliver but what I listened to yesterday I really liked. Thanks for creating a Sunday night conflict! I had so much fun at paper diamond at roo just figured he would end my night.
Decisions decisions, and now I have to kill myself to! GREAT!
Maps are posted! Looks like the two main stages are side by side (a la Bisco apparently) with the time slots alternating. Nice for a "camping the main area" perspective, should be interesting from a crowd movement perspective. Never been to a fest that did that, I'm excited though! With only about 20k people expected, crowds shouldn't be too huge of an issue anyway.

Bamboozle did this with their smaller stages. It was pretty nice. I remember some confusion because they were named differently and not too clearly marked.

CounterPoint and Shaky Knees also do this. It's nice because there's no down time, always music playing...
Apparently the storm was pretty bad? Hope everyone who went stayed safe and dry.
In other news, the comments on Facebook have been really negative, specifically in regards to the security? Hope people are just being over dramatic.
I had no problems with security. People keep saying there were undercover cops and dogs, but I saw neither. You did get searched both entering and exiting the main grounds, but it was no more painful than entering centeroo.
The thing about no car parking, was really lame. But they told you that when you bought your ticket. And I don't think most people realized that you could drive to the south camping grounds and drop off your belongings.
The reviews have been harsh, but I think 80% of them are just sour grapes over the last night being cancelled. Like I said, when they pulled the plug it wasn't even raining. What they should have done is just have Bassnectar go on early and do a stripped down set to send ppl home happy. But maybe that wasn't an option or they were hopeful that they'd be allowed to resume the fest still.
I think id go to this fest again truthfully. But I'd prefer if they just brought back Camp Bisco.
Heard a lot of ppl who stayed overnight are trapped in the mud and being told it'll cost $200 to tow them out. If that's true it's very lame. But I seriously doubt Hudson has anything to do with that.
Good thing I broke down my camp Sunday morning and actually listened when they told ppl go to their vehicles during evacuation. The second I heard the fest was shot, I hit the road and was home 2 hours later.

the decision to end the festival could have to do with the aftermath of the storm, and not just the storm. Last year at Bisco, Sunday was delayed because of the mud and the integrity of the stage structures, right?
That being said, I did have some friends go there and they are pretty familiar with the way festivals work. Initial reports are not looking good.
I just remembered that on Saturday when I was fucked up I did see a dog and it didnt even occur to me it was a drug sniffing dog and I walked up to it and petted it and stuff haha. That could have turned out badly.
