I don't know anything about "Roo rash", but I do know that our weather is volatile. This is my 10th Bonnaroo, and the weather is NEVER what is predicted. Be prepared and stay positive, no matter what happens!
Thursday: Actually pretty nice Friday: Big storm in the evening time Saturday: Storms possibly starting late evening (lasting into late nights? ) Sunday: A mess, but also hard to predict this far out
This says that Friday noon to midnight is a time when rotation, and thus some upward vertical motion, is encouraged. That's bad because we'll have moisture all around, so even more storms.
Silver lining! There isn't much upper air support for storms. In regions to the immediate left of "blobs" (jetstreaks), vertical motion is strongly encouraged, and we don't really see that in this case. We also may have a relatively stable atmosphere, but not sure on that yet.
Also, Claytonator I'm working on a detailed response to your questions about weather prediction. It depends on your math & physics experience, so shoot me a PM or we can discuss here.
Don't read this quacker... paroxysm714 I love it when you talk weather to us
That said my money is on EL-D. He's called it every time and called the unthinkable CT tornado for our planned camping trip. As all have said, be prepared for anything and know how to find the 'Lono ditch' if needed. : )
I think it's a Clarksville thing. I'm still surrounded by military all the time. I live two miles from Ft. Campbell Army base, Home of the 101st Airborne. It's an Army town. So in my case it could be a proximity thing. Fun fact: Jimmy Hendrix was stationed here and was artistically inspired by the area. There is a memorial to him on the base.
Hey, that Oddball Music store next to the base is owned by my family. Small world.
I've been going there since the 90s! I bought my Pink Floyd "Shine On" box set there. I also scored a new copy of "Exit to Eden" there for 50 bucks. Amazon wants almost 200 for the same thing. Good people!
45 minutes south of Manchester it looks like this today. Let's hope it gets everything out of his system before Bonnaroo. However with this sort of rain we've had the last several weeks the dirt will be soft and there will be mud at the farm.
Looks like Wednesday night could be wet. Friday may have some pop-up storms, and it looks like we could have rain come in during late nights, and just in time for the Roo Run. Sunday still looks like a mess unfortunately.

Does all the mud equal bugs? (big ole fat flies) I've been away from my roocroo for a funeral and haven't been caught up on their shopping adventures but I wanna make sure we bring some bug spray if necessary.
