My wife hasn't gone the last two years, and I keep returning home with stories about mild temperatures. She just shakes her head after enduring some of the insanely hot temps of the past. I certainly hope these latest projections hold true!
Question. Looking at these low temps. What was the low temp at night last year 2013 roo? Anyone remember?
i didn't know the numbers but at night, with a hoodie and a sleeping bag, i was cold. driving down this year with my husband so have way more room for comfort than flying solo. im bringing my hoodie, a jerga and two heavy blankies

That forecast is for Rhode Island, not Tennessee.
The actual Bonnaroo forecast is the second half of that post. Highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s, chance of pop up storms whenever.

Oh man I usually love the cold but last year I got screwed. I lost the mouth piece to my camel bak before Roo and stupidly bought a Walmart camelbak mouth piece without checking to make sure it worked until we got there. Well, it didn't work... My gf's sister was kind enough to lend us her Walmart brand Camelbak, which worked at first. However, I left it in my backpack with my sweats and jacket for a few hours on Saturday. Get back before late nights to find everything soaked, the camelbak started leaking from the bottom and drenched everything in my backpack and leaving me with just shorts ands a tee shirt to fend against the cold. Luckily my friend lent me his jacket during Empire of the Sun but the lesson here is ALWAYS BUY NAMEBRAND CAMELBAKS.

I went in early one night last year because I was so cold. But that was the best I've ever slept at Bonnaroo also...so that made it ok. I'm packing some easy to carry around long sleeves this year just in case. I wore my poncho for a while just for an extra layer, it worked quite well.
Where are you from that you were cold in a sleeping bag in the 50s?
Yea, that surprised me to hear as well. I think I turned my fan off one night because it was making me chilly, but I was pretty comfortable otherwise with mostly just a sheet (slept on top of my sleeping back).

Atlanta Ga here but I think I was cold cause I didn't have a sleeping bag more of a sheet. Also that day it was very warm out so the temp swing at night shocked me.
I'm ready. I made a redneck air conditioner yesterday out of a foam cooler, battery powered fan, duct tape, a gutter downspout, and ice. It really works! I'll be able to sleep in my tent until noon if I want to now...
Why would you wanna sleep until noon your at Roo!!

Ummmm so he/she can stay up late night & feel good & energetic the whole time?
Nashville resident here, anyone down on the farm early for setup be careful. Line of strong storms should be there in 30 minutes or so with 60 mile per hour winds predicted. Weather radio has been going off constantly with severe storm warnings for Manchester and the entire middle Tennessee weather. Should be here too in 30 minutes. The camper is in the driveway packed and almost ready to go, it's pointed into the wind and behind the truck so I'm thinking it will be ok.

Let Tennessee get this out of its' system real quick. Sacrifice to the weather gods volunteers.. Sorry Hang in there!! Put rocks in your pockets.
Ya I remember freezing one night also. I'm down with a little chilly. Wondering if we knew an actual temp.
I remember wearing a hoodie and sweat pants, and sleeping like a baby. I loved it. But I'm from Ohio, so 55-60 at night is nice, to me. I also keep the rainfly on my tent at night unless I know it is going to be hot and dry, which helps keep heat in.
