Jeez all I've heard the past 4 days is that it's been constantly raining on the farm. Not that it's going to ruin my experience or anything but DAYUM give us a break Mother Nature, seriously! First time I went, it poured down while we were setting up camp, that sucked. Hopefully it will at least slack off long enough to allow the sun to dry up most of the standing water and mud. I checked the weather today and it's looking a bit more optimistic.
Thursday's forecast is looking like "A couple of thunderstorms High being 82, Low is 63."
FWIW the storms dissolved right before they got to Manchester and they were only hit with some rain.
Yeaaaaa. It was more than just rain. Very, very strong winds. Portos flipped, tents collapsed, canopies blowing away. It wasn't fun. Lots of volunteers today asking if they can go to walmart to purchase new supplies.
Right now it's super muddy, but it's warm & the sun is out. Hopefully it'll stay this way and dry things up a bit.

I know it might be annoying and that some first timers might be disappointed, but a rainy bonnaroo sounds refreshing and muddy and fun as heck. At least compared to sweltering heat and abusive sunshine! I'll be happy with whatever we get!

I dunno.... trenchfoot doesn't sound fun at all...
The exit off the interstate coming from Chattanooga......will they shut this down if it gets too muddy? Seems like that has happened in the past. Surely they can bring in enough rock fill now that they own the place....no?
Actually, for how bad it stormed last night I'm sorta surprised that it isn't more muddy. But I also haven't walked through the campgrounds. I've just been driving around on the carts, and I haven't gotten stuck! Woo!

I wasn't going to pack my rain boots. That's no longer the case. Better safe than sorry in case more rain hits. If it's soggy, the crowd will quickly turn grass to mud.

Just look at the radar. It will rain there is a little bit and most likely tomorrow and probably the day after.
Watch the rotation of the storm it is large and rotating counterclockwise. Slow moving on the back side which will leave sketchy looking clouds for a couple days. The concentration of the rain on the backside is what makes me think probably on Thursday and not maybe.

Packing boots, one pair of 'sweatpants', and one rain jacket plus a hat. If it does rain this weekend, I don't think it'll be for hours at a time. I think perhaps a couple of showers at most each day. Probably will be a little muddy but we're all accepting that we're gonna get dirty anyways so deal with it. This is much better than 95 and dry. Everyone will be comfortable throughout the weekend and thank you Roo Gods for an awesome forecast for the third year in a row.
