I put Mon - Wed bc it is possible that what they are predicting for Thurs and Fri moves through quicker than predicted. There is really no way of knowing until you look at the Doppler each day though
We just got a warning over a staff radios about another huge storm with 45mph winds, thunder, & lightening. Sooooo that's happening.
If you can get to your canopies, lower them down to the lowest possible setting closest to the ground and then restake the guy lines. This will help limit the impact from the wind
I feel like I need to pack twice as many things with this wonky weather. Fingers crossed that I don't get charged for my bags being too heavy.
Yeah I think I need to add some more waterproofy things. Probably bring an umbrella for the first time, too. Trying to figure out what to sit on in centeroo. Probably just a garbage bag.

Crap, I didn't even think of centeroo mud lounging.
So who has tips on how to set up a tent in the rain?
1. Do it fast 2. See #1
But really, if you have a shade tent, set that up first and then your other tent under it. If you have a large rainfly, try to drape it over your tent while you're setting up. If you can, close any zippable tent windows before you start.

Better that it hits you now than us when we all get there.
Thanks for taking one for the team.
Definitely took one for the team. I had to run some volunteers to the shuttle pick up and now I'm completely soaked through.... If it wasn't muddy earlier. It's a total fucking mud fest now. Y'all have fun setting up in this mess!!!
Hope you volunteers are stayin' safe out there! And thanks fer the updates.
Lookin' at the radar it looks like one more band of storms may roll through, so hopefully The Farm will get some sunshine and dry out a bit!
don't say that. Every time I've said "hey, the sun is out! Maybe it'll dry up!" Another storm comes through. Let's just say "FUCK IT. RAIN ALL YOU FUCKING WANT TO!!!" And see what happens.

Thanks. Zip up the windows is an especially good tip. Been watching YouTube videos and "rainfly first" seems to the be the overwhelming opinion. I'll practice tonight and tomorrow.

I was waiting for enough info to decide whether or not to buy boots. I believe this is it.

Between this & the snaps/instagrams I posted you should most define only have enough proof to buy rain boots. And don't forget a poncho. They're only like $3 & def worth having "just in case."
