This is my third year coming, and I'm starting to think all of the horror stories about weather were a ploy to keep crowds down. If this forecast holds up, it will be 3 in a row of amazing weather. I'll take the credit.

the bad thing about the lower 80s weather though is that's perfect weather for the bees on the farm to be active...and extra aggressive in the territorial behaviors.

Bees can do whatever they want. Wasps, yellow jackets & hornets can go straight to hell. I will punch them all in their stupid asshole faces.
Actually, I'll probably run away screaming like a big ol' baby.

they're all there. if they can fly and sting...they're there. And for some reason they tend to nest near the main stage. you should probably just steer clear of that area.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
As someone who only looks at weather for Bonnaroo or incoming tornadoes, how accurate can a weather prediction be 3 weeks ahead of time? Like, is this a +/- 5 degrees thing or could this be way off.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

Not very accurate. Here's a post from last year's weather thread two or three weeks before roo:
If accuweather is correct then this year just might take 2010's spot as the worst weather I've ever experienced at roo. Rain with a heat index in the 100s. Worst of both worlds.
It ended up being 80's-low 90's and sunny every day except Sunday night. I wouldn't put too much stake in anything yet.

The worst is if its raining everyday for a week before Roo. The ground will be saturated making the ground that much muddier if an afternoon shower breezes through. The second worst is opening the tollbooths in the rain. The grass gets torn up in the first few hours of traffic and from there on it just makes mud puddles for the rest of the fest. Raining, Mud, and RV parking dont mix expecially at the bottom of the hills where water accumulates. Hopefully everything dries out by the time the gates open.

As of right now Accuweather says: Thursday: "Humid with periods of rain," high of 83 Friday: Partly sunny, high of 88 Satuday: "A couple of morning thunderstorms," high of 81 Sunday: Partly sunny, high of 81
But I also know to never trust weather reports, especially weeks in advance. For Boston Calling last weekend the forecast as of 12:30 pm on Sunday was overcast and rainy all day but there wasn't a drop of rain and barely a cloud in the sky that whole day.
As a redheaded who lives in Britain I really hope it stays relatively cool. I could really do with not having to cower in the shade the whole time!
I hate to break it to you, but TN in June is never relatively cool It may get cool late at night, but not often. Even the past two years, when the weather was "pleasant" to us, it would be have been pretty damn hot for you. My Mum comes to visit from Wales every year or so, and avoids coming to TN from May to September for a reason Also, please don't under estimate the importance of drinking TONS of water while you are here.

Ya you definitely want to stay at the three tents during the day and drink tons of water. When you think you drank enough water drink twice that amount. I normally try to drink 2-3 liters a day when I am at home (in the desert) at Bonnaroo I try to do 4-6 liters. Get a camelback, it makes it much easier to drink enough and to know exactly how much you are drinking.

Thanks. I have already purchased a camel bak. I am super conscious about the sun anyway.
I will keep my shirt on, for many reasons, and I will wear a hat with loads of suncream. I always drink a load of water anyway. I will save the beers for mornings and night times.
