I worked the fest last year and had a blast. I wish I could make it back this year but that's not happening. Always seems to have a great lineup and the crowd was pretty laid back compared to other festivals.
We did and plan on going again this year. Really cool little festival with great music. Exceeded all of my expectations.
My only concern this year is which temporary venue they will be holding it in, the park they usually hold it in is under reconstruction. Really hoping it's not an asphalt wonderland, but will probably go even if it is. Can't beat the convenience of a 2 day festival with a solid lineup being within driving distance.
And somehow I feel like I saw almost every show in this video.

I noticed the crowd was pretty respectful as well, probably the most so out of any fest I've been to. Sorry to hear you won't be back this year! Hopefully you can make 2015 when it goes back to the fancy updated park

Most definitely brunch, possibly at FYF, and no idea how we haven't met up at any shows! I think the only one offhand that I'm going to in the future is Cloud Nothings @ Soda Bar July 11? There are a few other shows coming up, but they're all August and later....

The Casbah also announced a show for them on the 22nd, with tickets to go on sale today. After people asked about it on FB (because the tix aren't on sale and the announcement is gone), they posted this:
Casbah San Diego 24 mins · Loose lips sink ships. Sometimes we announce a show and then the band gets booked for a big event and then we're not allowed to talk about our show anymore until the big show is sold out. We can only speak vaguely here, but if you saw a show announced that you were really excited about and then it disappeared, all I can tell you is that it will still happen, we'll announce it properly, and we'll let you all know when it goes onsale. Looks like tickets will be $120 this year, up from $99 last year. Still a bargain if the lineup compares well to previous years. Now we just need the lineup...
I'm not a Phoenix fan but the Slowdive/Slint shows would be fine for me that day. I'm super impressed with this year. Kudos, FYF. I'll make this one year.
