if you ask me They should bringback the classic bands that made bonnarroo great. Way to many one hit wonders and not enough rock.
Which one hit wonders are you talking about?
I love jam bands and a lot of the acts that early Bonnaroo's featured. I also love a ton of the newer, more varied acts that they have booked in recent years. I think the booking has been fantastic.

Fine, I'll play along.
Gee, Mr. 420. You sure are right. Looking back at the 2003 three line-up there were so many great rock bands that were in no way one hit wonders. Real face-melters like Jason Mraz, OAR, G. Love and Special Sauce, Joshua Redman, Keller Williams, Ben Kweller, Gavin DeGray, Stickey Fingers, Robinella and the CCstringband, Jon Cleary, Kaki King, Polyphonic Spree, Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, Garage A Trois, Particle, Josh Kelly, GnR Coverband Mr. Brownstone, Josh Wink, The New Deal, The Slip, Topaz, and Buddahead.

Not complaining about the lineup and the guy is obviously trolling but...
it makes me chuckle hearing this from the foo fighters fanatic.
Oh please, just because I love a band doesn't mean I think they're the greatest or that I'm not able to form an unbiased opinion. I just enjoy their music more than most other bands. Doesn't mean I think they're "rock legends" like boring old tom petty.

I wish we had all those guys back.
Garage a trois is one of the most amazing experimental jazz bands out there, I would love for them to come back to the farm. Skerik, Stanton Moore, Mike Dillon, Marco Benevento it is pretty hard to go wrong with them.
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.

it just makes me chuckle because I think foo fighters are overrated and boring. nothing personal yo.

Yes, they were great that year. I was under the impression they no longer existed, hence their inclusion in this list, but apparently I'm mistaken. (although they haven't played since 2011, so I'm not totally crazy)

I know the Dead Kenny G's (GAT minus Stanton) have played a lot, and Garage a trois has played more recently than that I know I saw them last year.

You originally addressed me and not the band, so it came off as personal. No worries.

This is the most recent show I could find on Archive.
Setlist.fm had 2011, but obviously that's wrong. Regardless, they're still basically a side project (albiet a good one) and plucking out one or two decent names from a list of has beens doesn't really change the point.
