Gee, Mr. 420. You sure are right. Looking back at the 2003 three line-up there were so many great rock bands that were in no way one hit wonders. Real face-melters like Jason Mraz, OAR, G. Love and Special Sauce, Joshua Redman, Keller Williams, Ben Kweller, Gavin DeGray, Stickey Fingers, Robinella and the CCstringband, Jon Cleary, Kaki King, Polyphonic Spree, Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, Garage A Trois, Particle, Josh Kelly, GnR Coverband Mr. Brownstone, Josh Wink, The New Deal, The Slip, Topaz, and Buddahead.
I wish we had all those guys back. Garage a trois is one of the most amazing experimental jazz bands out there, I would love for them to come back to the farm. Skerik, Stanton Moore, Mike Dillon, Marco Benevento it is pretty hard to go wrong with them.
Just so we're clear, at least two of those guys have played Bonnaroo in the last three years. #vibesaredead
And yes, by all means, hitch your wagon to the Jess train. Rage against the dying of the vibes.
Yeah thats what I do, the funniest part is you are more uptight about music who should play where, and who is or is not a racist based on rappers that they like, that you make the oldest crustiest hippie seem musically forward thinking in comparison. I mean it is amusing to watch you jump all over people because they like someone you don't or vice versa, but you pretty much come off as a pretentious douchebag when you just don't stop with it.
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.

I think there is something for everyone to like at Bonnaroo, musical taste speaking.
I think the festival does a good job spreading the genre around. If you listen to alt nation on sirius you'll hear 60% of the bands that play roo each year.
Besides, just go for the fun of it. It was hilarious seeing "corn" selling Jesus walking around Friday night, and the homer Simpson donut combo, funny stuff.

I'd really like to see Main stage entertainment along with the already offered Comedy and Cinema Tents. I would love to see Blue Man Group or Cirque du Soleil... I don't know how they would work it out but I would gladly take a line up with two heavy hitter headliners, Cirque du Soleil, and a solid undercard.

Ex: Prince/Cirque du Soleil/Daft Punk
Wow, I just checked out of curiosity, and the booking site has the price for the Blue Man Group listed as "under $300,000."
KEEP THE KALLIOPE! Better stage production on Which and the tents also!
The synced buggie packed with speakers was fantastic as well. Break out 2 of those things next year. Just bluetooth sync them to the soundsystems so when they roll by a stage they pick up whoever's set is playing. Put a few out in the What field for headliner sets.
Screens on tents has to happen. Thhe festival is just to big with patrons and employees alike . That $50 increase needs to show up somewhere.
Dis-infest the Giant Heads. I herd that they got nested in over the winter by some animals and wernt able to be put up/fixed in time.
Keep the glass blowing guy as usual and awesome bacon land fire pig.
Not blow their lineup load on the top line with The Stones.
-Free Gatorade passed out in the campgrounds @ 8:30 a.m. as anti-hangover festival sponsor. -Bring John McCauley and any/(all?!) of his bands to the farm -- Likely D.Rugs -M83 LN -I agree w/ talk of tent screens -Ditch the comedy acts and make that corner another big stage. With the money saved on comedians you could bring in another nice bunch of musicians. -Give Sonic Stage a little wider berth. -Bring in more eclectic beer for the Brooer's Festival. The stuff they have can be gotten at any decent liquor store. Pay homage to true upstarts. -Perhaps some lighted posts out in the What stage area so that I don't have to carry a flashlight to keep from stepping on MFers
Went to Roo in 2012/2013 and took off last year. Seems likely I will be at this one. I really don't have much to throw out there for improvments.
Im in the group that thinks there should be shows at Which on Thursday. I like the idea of just having smaller/up-and-coming bands playing, but the tents get insanely crowded.
The tents need at least one video screen.
The more porto's and shower areas the better. Nobody wants a long walk for that.
Planned out paths for leaving the grounds on Monday. There is no way to get around it, the vast majority of attendees will be trying to leave between 7:30 am - 10:00 am on Monday. Both years I went we have had an lengthy wait trying to get out. I have talked to people before who has not had to wait leaving at that time, so I guess it can be luck of the draw. Either way, they need to figure out as many routes as possible to get traffic moving on Monday.
