Meeting all of my friends in the Walmart parking lot before getting in line. Hadnt seen some in a few years. Thats probably my best moment every year..Yeah. thats always my favorite moment. So many awesome moments happen on the grounds but experiencing them with good friends makes it that much better.

This guy knows what's up! Nearly every one of my "moments" with gonna roo is because of the people I'm with, whether or not something amazing happened (like the guy talking about Nick cave^^, which was awesome) but the fact that I experienced all the amazing things WITH my closest friends is the best part

Exactly haha, what I mean is, whatever happened in the moment could be amazing, but the best part, to me, is that I experienced it with friends. (If you took the time to look, I probably don't directly state this either. Just to clarify that I'm not a hypocrite)

My highlights from my first roo were: - the numerous strangers i danced/sang/cried with, I remember you all. - meeting up with my uncle during Vampire Weekend's set and watching him dance like a dork - smoking with an adorable old lady during Real Estate's set - Hugging my best friend while the lips perform "Feeling Yourself Disintegrate"

getting to hear those gorillaz songs live at damon albarn was great. being 30 minutes later to lauryn hill which is actually still 15 minutes early. and of course Mr. West!
The Preatures was probably when it kicked in that I was really at Bonnaroo. First concert of the weekend(or ever) and was great! Other moment had to be at Kanye. Ive been a big Kanye fan for a long time, and being pretty close for the concert was pretty insane.

Roo 14 was an odd year for me. Went with my soon to be ex wife, a day later because my great grandma died on Monday and her funeral was on Thursday morning.
I was BUMMED to miss Cherub Thursday night, but so happy to see them on Friday for an acoustic set. Cake right after, front rail was awesome. Then Jack White really made me feel at home.
Hoping this year will be better, not overshadowed by family matters
The look on Ty's face for the first 'Bye-Bye!' in Wave Goodbye will forever be emblazoned in my mind. He played like a man possessed that night.
His show was awesome, but I saw him again in early November playing the back warehouse of our local skatepark and he killed it and the setting made it feel so underground, it was amazing. And my buddies run the skatepark, so I ended going to the bars in ybor with a bunch of people from the park and Ty ended up being there and got to drink with for a bit at the bar and talk. One of my favorite local music nights ever

Hell yeah, wasn't that the Tampa show. I saw him in Nashville on the same tour, and I remember looking down his dates to see where they were playing. And I was like 'They're playing at a skatepark, whaaat?', I bet that was awesome.
The place I saw him at in Nashville was also an old warehouse, or at least it looked like one from the outside. It's crazy because I feel like they should be playing to sold out arenas, but I'm glad that they are still relatively unknown to most people and play at smaller, more intimate settings.

Yeah, that was the Tampa show, it's a world famous skatepark and has a couple courses. Ty and his band set in the middle of one of the courses on some of the ramps and kicked ass, it was awesome
Meeting a beautiful girl at Ty Seagull and going to R Kelly Singalong was absolutely mind-blowing. Trapped in the Closet in the Cinema Tent is one of the funnest things every year and I highly recommend it.
Taking my brother on his first ferris wheel ride at 3:30 in the morning was a real bonding experience.
Meeting many of you at Brunch for the first time was incredible and hilarious. The tribute to Whoreshack was very sweet.
ST Paul > Seun Kuti > Dakhabrahka was one of the hardest dancing I've done in a long time.
Meeting ASHLEY CAPPS at Dakhabrahka and thanking him for everything he's done was wonderful.
A stumble meeting with bonzai at the VIP bathrooms was awesome.
Seeing Chaka Khan sing Zeppelin
Walking in to Chance not knowing anything and owing out a huge fan by the end of the night..
Going in to the pit for Seasick was so much fun. After the show my friend called me and told me Washed out was playing a secret gig in the campgrounds. Ran over there and got my brother to come along with. Five minutes after showing up we won a prize from Teva for being nice to the girl running the little stage and saw Washed Out play ten feet away from us. It was absolutely magical.
Damon Albarn in the pit was one of the most life affirming moments of my lifetime.
Of course the infamous Jack White > Nick Cave > Darkside shows were crazy as hell and unforgettable. I watched Darkside with a woman painted all in silver who I met earlier in the day as she was tripping and getting "lost in the ferris wheel".
Crowd surfing for the first time at Washed Out's legit set on Sunday. After I did it everyone started to crowd surf and it was nothing but beautiful.
All of a tribe called red. I was walking around by myself, went there on a whim and wound up going hard the whole time with these random people around me.
Finally seeing Jack White was nothing short of amazing. The first cd I ever bought was Elephant by The White Stripes as soon as it came out, being that I was 9 at the time it opened the floodgates of music and lead me on my way of finding myself musically. Seeing the person that started it all for me is something I will always hold close to my heart.

Damon Albarn set in general but him busting out Gorillaz songs was super special. Gorillaz are #1 bucket list. Bringing out De La Soul for Feel Good was prob the highlight.
Honorable Mentions: Elton John by far the most energy I have had for a Sunday. Dancing Crazy in the back at Cut Copy. Didn't think that show would be THAT fun. Chromeo Jack White
