Anyone know why he didn't bring his new set-up that he had at Coachella?
deadmau5 was fun, but the last twenty minutes or so lost steam for me. Saw the last bit of ODESZA after but kinda wish I just went over and saw the last hour of Fly Lo.
Yeah, my friends and I had to sit around on the ground for like fifteen minutes after the show to pick all the pieces and try to put our brains back together
Exactly this. I just wandered around the tent/stage for a while trying to assimilate back to reality.
I had planned to catch some of STS9 after the show, but when I walked over there with FuzzyWarbles , it just couldn't compare. There was no way to go from the majesty that was FlyLo to Tribe. It was like watching a college basketball team after watching some prime era Michael Jordan. No matter how good they are, it's just a different level.
marcoolio can attest to this, I was slack jawed with amazement for nearly the entire show. I had a white knuckled grip on the rail by the soundboard/access ramp, and was putty in his hands.
I don't know what I looked like, but your face was at a constant .
The only downside to this show was the guy behind me who was rolling super hard and kept waving his hand in front of my face and then asking if he was being annoying.
I was unaware of this, but the visuals for FlyLo's show are live, on the fly by two different artists (one does the front screen, one does the back).
That just takes to another level of, "Whoa..."
Also, check out this live version of "Never Gonna Catch Me". Amazing cover, and they added some flair making it their own too. Definitely worth a watch:
