It's pretty early to be making 2015 threads, but fuck it. He tore up the farm in 2012 and it would be a god damn shame to go 3 years without bringing him back.
There was definitely something charming about him having no light show in 2012, but he is capable of some crazy shit and after the Darkside mindfuck this year I'd love to have flylo unleash some crazy contraption on us.

Flying Lotus is by far my favorite electronic live act, and probably my favorite current producer/dj. I've seen him 3 times and every time the quality of his sets get better.
I saw him blow the roof off of an abandoned warehouse here in Atlanta on 12/12/12. Top 3 concert ever for me probably.
He'd have to be late night, though. How often do producers of his popularity get repeat late night shows at 'roo?

I second this inquiry because I find it difficult to think of someone playing a LN at Roo two different years, especially since it's not like he has elevated to the point that he will play the Which LN. That is the only reason I have trouble seeing him come back this year.

They know that he has no place playing a set before midnight at Bonnaroo.

I mean, they do it all the time. Skrillex, Pretty Lights, Disco Biscuits when they used to play every other year, etc. Only SBTRKT got the daytime shaft and really because there is an argument to be made for why his show is 1000x more enjoyable during the day any DJ or Producer, FlyLo included. Unless it's some sort of electronic/organic hybrid, they put the bigger button pushers on at night.

His last set is definitely in the top 3 show range for me in the last 4 Bonnaroos that I've attended. I would love to see him again. Please please please.

He has said they're building a new rig for the upcoming tour, but I can't imagine a situation where they abandoned the 3 layer or it's less cool. Maybe just recreating it to better fit larger venues?

I'll be at his first show on the 'You're Dead!" tour and I'm super pumped to see what the new rig is all about. I never got to see Layer 3 so I'm hoping this is just as mind melting.
