Insider I got the Porter info from says Bassnectar will be there. Also, apparently the bucket hat guy might end up being A$AP Ferg. He was good at Mad Decent but nothing to write home about. I guess once the lineup video gets leaked later today, we can confirm some of the stuff. Hopefully lots more rappers and bands.
Oh and Blotter, it's just advance sales that are sold out. Regular Price dickets go on sale Friday if you end up coming down. Me and Jabco did the pre-sale $299 VIPs.

Yea, I'll try to win tix but I ain't paying for Buku this year. Funds are limited and I gotta prioritize with Wanee/Hangout/Roo/Voodoo and whatever Dead shows I can catch.
I have GA, I am trying to win upgrades. Last year I did VIP, but I just don't have the funds right now. They were giving away upgrapes, VIP and 2015 Tickets left and right last year, including at the fest...
What they specifically said though was that they were going to "snapchat" (if that's a verb) the lineup video a day early if you joined the snapchat. Hopefully it's not just a shot of the video itself and is the actual video. But since the lineup comes out tomorrow, hopefully it's pretty thorough. Also getting some confirmation from other sources that Bassnectar is apparently on the lineup. Also, one person suggested the guy with glasses is possibly Riff Raff, but since I don't know him, I can't say one way or the other.

I just got the snapchat, and it is just silhouettes of (what looks like) naked girls, dancing with Buku Creatures.
And the exact verbiage from the Facebook page was "BUKU is on Snapchat! Add us if you want a peek of the lineup video tomorrow ? thebukuproject Think you can handle it?"

I would like to see a better picture. All of them are not very good or clear. But all will be revealed tomorrow. TVOTR makes me happy. I know there will be some other good acts, and I'm a happy girl.

Why not? They get pretty big names already. Kanye would be their biggest get, but its really not that much of a stretch.
Im not familiar on specific numbers but they've had somebody who costs more to book than Kanye? He would seem to be pretty expensive for a two-day, privately-funded festival.

I'm saying they haven't booked anybody that big. But they've booked some other acts that were decently expensive. What does Kanye cost to book? Upwards of 600 Grand. What people forget is that artists get paid big bucks to dj and more to do live sets. Buku usually has around 70 artists with about 75-80% being national or regional acts. David Guetta, Kaskade, Ellie Goulding, and Zedd were booked last year. Despite what you think of their music, these guys makes bank at festival appearances. Like at least 100 - 150 each and I think that estimate is a kinda low. For perspective Calvin Harris (who played in 13') costs 300 according to Forbes. What I'm saying is that they could splurge and get him if they really wanted.
