Were any of you at Courtney Barnett's show at the Sinclair? Quacking fantastic. I was having trouble deciding between her and Benjamin Booker at Roo but this sealed the deal. Not sure if a daytime Newport set will be the right setting for her though. I'll definitely go if there's no bad conflict, but I won't feel too bad if I have to miss her.
Also I've recently decided she could do a great cover of Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues" and I won't rest until she does it.
Now this week has some light announcements. But it's to be expected as they fill in the undercard. I think if we're getting My Morning Jacket they'll be announced next week after Boston Calling.
