Drake is headlining. So are the Black Keys. Bjork is playing, but it's unknown if she's a headliner. I think Drake-Bjork-Keys would be fine, but who knows.
That seems really weak at first look. But it would definitely move tickets with a decent undercard. Plus if Bjork is going to headline a major festival in the US, one in NYC will definitely allow name recognition to increase for the future.
This was the same year they put a shitty bar cover band in a coveted spot at one of the biggest music festivals in the country. Obviously they found doing bath salts to be a prerequisite for any scheduling decisions.
Alex from CoS is a worthless toad. Just a wanker of the lowest order.
I have worked with him off and on off the years when I was the Admin of Inforoo. I can assure you he does has inside info from time to time.
I would hope he would have some information now and then, seeing as how that grammatical monstrosity of a content aggregator he calls a website has somehow become relevant in this increasingly foolish decade, but I fail to see how his possession of any information makes him less of a wanker.

After reading today's (since deleted) Coachella lineup preview, I find that hard to believe.
I briefly read it. I do recall then naming the headliners, but that info leaked last night.
Alex said something to the effect of "AC/DC has been mentioned, but no way they're cool enough for Coachella to book them. They'll probably get Coldplay or Mumford."
CoS has a significant grudge against Coachella, some of which (I think) stems back to when Alex was run off the Coachella boards. I'm sure others know more, but CoS regularly trashes Coachella. Hell, last year they just shat all over Coachella's lineup, then turned and praised Lollapalooza, which was basically Coachella only with all the good stuff taken out.

That was probably the worst thing that they have ever published.
The part about "maybe Drake and Kendrick will headline together" was flabbergasting. You have to be drunk to come up with an idea that dumb. And stoned.
I wouldn't think Bjork could headline Govball. At Roo in 2013 she had like a 6pm slot.
Im still putting my money on Pearl Jam - The Black Keys - No Doubt. If one of those is wrong I'd replace them with Drake.
She preheadlined and was billed 4th. Plus there's a good chance she'll be supporting a new album.
Ah, true. Don't get me wrong, I loved Bjork at Roo. One of my top 3 shows that weekend. But Govball just doesn't seem like the kind of festival she would headline. I would imagine she would be in the same slot as The Strokes or Phoenix last year.

It was ridiculous.
I will take your word..if it ain't Kanye it is carp to him.

And on fire.
Oh my God I wish someone had saved this.
I want to have a person-to-person debate with Alex, in real time, about the dreck his site puts out and why he's such a massive pantload. People get mad at Phyre Fest for hoovering info off of forums for his site, but Alex was pulling that shit years ago (and not crediting anyone).

There's a million sites and a million reason to love or hate any of them but I'd read Phyre Fest's crap before COS's crap any day of the week. And that cost me two toes, a finger, and two penis inches to say that out loud so it's gotta mean something dammit.

Yep. CoS manages to be uninformed, reactionary, offensive, poorly written, clumsy, and boring all in one fell swoop.

Maybe, but it did say to be on the lookout for the lineup today as well. With nappa announcing their lineup it seemed like things were happening today. It was more of a gut feeling, but it was right.
