Huge draw in Cincy, this is a good get. Looks like Promowest is sticking to the plethora of generic Indie Pop bands of previous years which is pretty disappointing. Walk The Moon, Matt and Kim, Bleachers....
So, I'm digging what I see so far...even with the ones we aren't sure of (catfish vs rbf, offspring vs kooks), I'm cool with all of them. Since I live close, I can't see not going. Question though, I usually go VIP at Roo because I'm old and it's hot...but do I even need to at Bunbury?

I don't know what you look for in VIP, but I would say if you have the money go for it. Not sure how Promowest will run VIP this year but I won a contest to see an acoustic set in the VIP area in 2013. They had an air-conditioned tent where some of the acts at the festival would perform acoustic sets, they had some free pospsicles and random stuff like that, a bar where the booze was about a third of the price as the rest of the festical, free massages, and a private areal with hammocks and nice chairs that led to a nice viewing area in front of the main stage. However, with general admission I never had a hard time. There's plenty of seating areas, plenty of shade, the stages aren't too far away from eachother, water/misting stations, etc.

Thanks. How about viewing? I know the stage at the Serpentine Wall wouldn't be a problem but what about the other stages? Did they ever get crowded enough where you couldn't see or were there screens? The front row access is the biggest thing jumping out at me.

The main stage has a big screen, and it might have had 2 last year. The past 3 years I've been able to walk up 10mins before any set and gotten a good spot. Of course that could change if they sell more tickets since they are reducing the number of stages too.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Someone is claiming they can see on that t-shirt that the Avett Brothers have a date in Cincinnati the first week of June. Looks like we got one of the headliners, and apparently it fits that clue with the Tin Man. Cincinnati on Saturday the 6th.
I went ahead and sprung for a 3-Day Pass before the price hike. Didn't go VIP, I'll just camp out at a stage if I want to get close that bad and hopefully it won't be too hot that early in June.

Final hint is either Wilco, The Decmberists, or Bobby Knight Ranger. Seeing as Wilco is playing the Taft in May, and Bobby Knight Ranger is a fake band (unless you count Yo La Tengo), I'd say THE DECEMBERISTS are playing Bunbury.

Seems like a long trek for The Decemberists, though. Governors Ball the 5th to Bunbury the 6th then down to Houston on the 7th? That's some awful tour routing. Give me Yo La Tengo instead.

Too soon for a Yo La Tengo repeat, they already played in 2013. Thought about Wilco but they're playing Cincinnati in May.
Definitely. This add will move tickets, but I've always found Meloy's voice to be nauseating.
Personally, I'm a fan, but I can totally see how people wouldn't like his voice.
I have a bunch of friends that are fans, but I just could never get into it. I haven't listened to them since Picaresque came out when I was in college, but I can see the other side of the coin as to why people fawn over them. It's just not for me. I would have assumed they were headliners, but it seems they're on the same day as the Avett Brothers if that tour shirt is right.

Since single day tickets are already being offered do we believe we will get a day by day lineup with initial announcement tomorrow or do the dailies usually follow at a later date?
