Would be fantastic. Would they be a headliner or second tier? I can't tell. I picture them in a Lorde placement.
Also, esteban, I just watched 20-30ish mins from Metallica's Glastonbury set and I have to admit, it looks like it'd be a a great show. (Songs were Enter Sandman and Seek & Destroy) Depending on who they're conflicting with I would probably go check that out.. You can't deny a great live show, even if the music isn't your cup of tea.
I am also surprised by Kasabian's live show, but that's neither here nor there.
For sure. When I saw them, they took Green Day's spot at Voodoo when Billie Joe Armstrong went into rehab. Their tour ended a few weeks earlier, and we got a pretty cool set also with Hit the Lights, One (great bombs/war sequence live), Master of Puppets, Fade to Black, Sandman, Seek and Destroy, Battery, For Whom the Bell Tolls, etc. that's the only time I'd seen them, so it was pretty cool.

This except switch deadmau5 with bassnectar. And maybe drake with kdot or the weeknd
When golden voice announced that they would partner with HOF they said that foo fighters would be playing hangout this year as a U.S. festival exclusive show. Wouldn't seem very exclusive if they are booked for two weekends at ACL back to back.
Nah, I don't think the exclusive Foo's show for Hangout is a real thing. They're definite headliners for this year. And btw, I'm pretty sure the lineup will come out one week after Coachella Weekend 2.

I can't imagine Hangout having a monopoly on one of the biggest modern-ish rock acts in existence. Hangout is a mid-tier festival with sub-par lineups. If they did, however, kudos to them. It just doesn't seem feasible to me.

Far be it for me to be a defender of Hangout, but the lineups aren't usually subpar. They are never the best lineups I see every year, usually 3rd or 4th. But their lineups never suck even if the headliners are about 50/50 for me. In fact, I had more gaps at ACL 2013 dayside than any festival I've ever been to. But I wouldn't categorize that year as subpar either.
Whether that radio station was correct or not is really the question. With no Austin show or any other shows in Texas, either they are playing ACL or they will add more dates. OKC 9/29, Wichita on the 30th and Memphis on 10-7 with both adjacent weekends open, it's gotta be better than a 50% chance they are playing ACL.
I've been to Voodoo more than any other fest. $99 tickets. N'awlins. Accessible headliners. I ignore the bad stuff, dress up in a costume, and it's a freaking blast!
As far as ACL goes... I hope they drop it before April 21, since my lady friend wants to see Hozier that night... and I'd prefer to wait to see if he comes back to ACL after dropping out sick in 2014. Hell, I hope they drop it TODAY!
