I'm definitely mourning the fact that we didn't get Modest Mouse, Death Cab, St. Vincent, Alt-J, Grimes, Future Islands, and a few others. But overall - that is a very solid undercard. I bet I'll discover a lot of new bands I'm into by way of listening to the artists I'm not currently familiar with on the bottom 5/6 lines, which is always a good thing!
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I just want to say that I told you deadmau5>kendrick and would like my all-star nomination revoked. Deadmau5 on main is going to be fun... and something we have never done before.

I'm not overly excited about the first few names on the lineup, but once I get down to the second line and beyond, it's packed full of acts I want to see.

lineup is EXTREMELY weak compared to the last 6-7 years. kendrick has a new album coming out, but has no new hits currently that he didn't have the last time he played a sunday afternoon what stage slot. sure he MAY by June, but what if the new record bombs? who knows? i'm just unsure what garnered him that headliner slot. mumford making up for canceling a couple years ago. idk. a few things missing i thought would be there (death cab), and nothing surprising that was added. will not be attending. hope everyone who is going has a good time though!

When do they normally announce the additions and I can't remember if they've ever added anyone of significance. My friend tried to say he saw Jimmy Fallon but obviously that isn't listen anywhere

If last year had 130 odd artists/jams we are missing a solid 20 acts, subtract the comedy and possibly 10-15 artists potentially could be announced but I'm still happy with the lineup although disappointed a tad.
2017: 2/24 Twenty One Pilots 4/1 Radiohead 6/7 Glass Animals 9/10 Modest Mouse 9/21 Arcade Fire 9/29 Kings of Leon 10/3 Foster the People 10/17 The xx 10/22 LCD Soundsystem 11/8 Bon Iver

Two years ago they added Empire of the Sun, Solange and handful of other additions.

Initially disappointing. But more I look at it the more I see things Im excited for. It looks like only half of the lineup has been released so I think we will get a lot more additions than we are normally used to
I think the early lineup release, the small number of bands, and the lack of supposedly confirmed bands like RL Grime and Primus all signify that the second group of bands added will be a lot stronger than normal
