I don't think anyone on Roo's lineup's stock dropped. All the crossover acts seem to have gotten really good reviews for their Coachella performances. Kendrick's rep should shoot way ahead of Drake's among people who keep track of festival performances and such after his June appearance is met with high praise.
Considering Kendrick's track record with live performance, do you really think he's been able to turn it around for the new material? Honestly, I think he's going to disappoint. Saw him in 2013 and it was one of the worst rap sets I've ever seen.

I didn't enjoy Kendrick in '12. It was mostly the DJ playing the tracks and Kendrick rapping or shouting along. He even quoted along to an entire verse and chorus of a UGK song. I was much more impressed when I saw him again at Roo '13 and ACL that year. It was one of those collective cohesive moments with the crowd and his vocals stayed crisp and clear for the entire set. I can only expect his live performance to continue to improve and am excited to see how the new material is presented. I think there will be a band and it will be similar to the appearances on SNL and Colbert with more showmanship added with all the extra time to fill.
I saw Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen at a very small venue in Sydney called The Basement. If you like rock/soul/jazz/blues this man is for you, amazing voice and great musicians. This will be one of the most underrated shows at Bonnaroo 2015.
Also wouldn't be surprised if he sits in with Martin Medeski Scofield and Wood.
jon cleary played (and handled vocals) on one of scofield's solo albums a couple years ago. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see some collab between the two.

I love Jon Cleary so much. He used to play regularly at the bar I worked at on my shift nights. Not only crazy talented good, funky NOLA music, but an awesome dude.

I loved his show! Great way to end my 10 week trip abroad, dancing to their grooviness. Brings me back every time I listen to him.

Is anyone going to create a Guitarists of Roo thread this year? I remember someone talking about it before the lineup dropped. I don't remember who though. I always enjoy that thread. I would create it but I don't think i have posting privileges, or I don't know how to use the site. Either possibility wouldn't surprise me
Bonnaroo fucked up. The Who destroyed at Jazzfest yesterday. Maybe the best classic rock headliner performance I've ever seen. Pete was windmilling and shredding solos the whole show. Roger was screaming at full force and twirling his mic. They had so much fun on stage and interacted with the crowd with some (Spinal Tap-esque) humor. I went in with mild expectations and was absolutely blown away. Fuck you Billy Joel! 80s Billy Joel Doo Wop SUCKS!

I remember getting nervous about the idea of Roo getting The Who, not knowing that the possibility of them getting Billy Joel was very real..ugh.
Hey! I could really use some help from anyone on here. I didn't really know where else to post this question so I settled for this thread but it could easily be posted anywhere else on the site. Anywho..a while back I came across a post someone had made on here dividing a list of possible future headliners into categories (i.e. Legends-Prince/Grateful Dead/The Rolling Stones, Headliners for Sure-Daft Punk, Beyoncé, Iffy Headliners-MMJ, The Killers etc.). The whole thing was pretty impressive. I was looking for it the 2016 headliner thread, it being the most obvious place, bit I didn't see it. Maybe I'm just dreaming but I'm pretty sure I saw this thing somewhere on here and I want to find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction with a link? Thanks ahead of time.
