Are we thinking they might have a really solid set of additions, seeing as the announcement was so much earlier than usual - and maybe they were scrambling to get the lineup out when others were dropping so quickly?
I'm thinking the same thing, roo seems to book some acts last minute. Didn't Infinitypass mention they booked Jack White shortly before the lineup dropped. I think we'll get a couple solid rounds of adds like in 2012.

My initial response is a lack of shock in the genres I prefer. That or I have just seen too much in my old age. Doesn't matter. I'm going. I'm having fun.
Flume, Hozier, Gambino, and Robert Plant are all ranked significantly higher than I expected. Sliding some bands like MM, TVOTR, Weezer, Primus, etc in there could really help.
Also, in my opinion the bottom half is significantly better than last year's. If they can fix the top 15 it'll be a great lineup.

On last years schedule I counted 116 shows were played on What, Which, This, That, and the Other, which would mean if they want to stick with a similar number of shows Roo would need to add almost 10 acts. If some the additions are Top 25 acts that could do a lot to change my opinion on the depth the lineup.

I am usually pretty damn excited to see ~20 bands on any given large scale festival. Last year I had 25. This year I'm already chilling at 26. I thought last year was killer and there are so many more bands to be announced. Fuck me. What a beautiful problem to have.

There are more I believe, but those were the main, non cafe acts. The bold ones were decently high on the lineup.

It returns to the beginning of the 7 (5 for the more efficient Inforoosters) stages of grief when the lineup drops. Give it 2 days and everyone will be back at acceptance

I can't wait for these people to do some proper research and learn that this lineup is actually really good.
This. I like it slightly better than last year so far, once additions have been added and I've had more time to explore it, I'd say I'll like it ever more than last year.
