That actually supports my argument more. Just because something's better that a bunch of crap doesn't make it the best thing ever.
I was quick to ignore your opinion and maybe that was arrogant of me. You're right, in a way. Just because Run The Jewels is better than a bunch of crap, that doesn't mean that they're the best thing ever. But on the other side of that argument is where I'm sitting (and maybe several more of us are) which is that I see a duo that is destroying everything else around it and that excites me more than anything else going on in hip-hop right now. The prospect that they're leagues above their contemporaries, means that the future bodes well for the state of hip-hop. Sure, maybe not the best thing ever, but surely the best thing in a surprisingly long time, for many of us. Personally, that's fucking gold.
Hmm. That's a very interesting idea that they will end up being a catalyst for a shift in the genre. I hope so.
Wtf was that Drake set? He really should've had some help making the setlist and creating a better pace. It was probably one of the least climactic headlining sets I've ever seen at a fest. He picked way too many "headphones songs", it was pretty boring.
Yeah. I'm surprised Madge was Drizzy's big surprise guest. What is this, '92?
Isn't AC/DC headlining this fest?
Haha. True. I just don't see any connection between Drake and Madonna. Maybe she just wanted in on the Coachella action somewhere and Drake thought it would add some shine to his set. Not knowing what other obligations they had last weekend, Minaj and Wayne seem like they would have been a better fit.

Stereogum reports that Coachella couldn't have picked a better Sunday closer and added that Drake's set made the rest of the weekend feel like a prolonged opener.

FWIW I heard a week ago he was trying to get Eminem to make a run in. Guess that fell through. Can't exactly say that would have saved things either.
But at least we wouldve been saved from this....
Didn't watch any of his set (never planned to - but god it sounds like it was reallllly rough), but what the fuqq is even happening here? Did she knock his tooth? Is he about to vom? All of the above?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Stereogum stating the rest of the weekend seemed like a prolonged opener leads me to believe they are riding the jock of Drake more than just a little.
